That would be pretty hard to do. There are only so many sounds you can make with a guitar, a bass and drums so unless said band uses different instruments in their repertoire or a new kind of singing, I don't really see that happening.

Where I live the only thing that's played on the radio is country and pop, and it's really annoying. It would be nice if other genres would be played on the radio.

One Direction has died down in popularity for the most part. Now we have Five Seconds Of Summer which is basically One Direction 2.0 except not nearly as bad.

She is actually pretty good at singing, I don't see her rapping and she has terrible song lyrics, if anyone tries, they can make a good song good.
To be honest, it still wouldn't be that good. Even her somewhat decent stuff is somewhat decent at the very best.

Nicki is a pretty good rapper. Just needs less autotune and have better lyrics.
That would make the world a whole lot better. Sadly the only thing we can really do is share songs of other genres or with good lyrics to our perverted brothers and sisters with the hopes that they see the light!
Everything when it comes to music is okay in moderation, but right now, basically almost every song you hear on contemporary pop radio is about love, partying, sex, butts, or drugs. There should be more pop songs about real issues, like the government, the environment, poverty, etc., while still having some love songs. Agree with this one.
Can we start singing about real life issues and social statements, or things with deep meanings, and gear away from Tick Tocking, or shaking it off, and anacondas, bang banging into places, having blurred lines, wiggling and rap?
It's always been this way, from the '60s onward. It's just a little less subtle now. All these folks going on about anacondas could take a lesson from Sparks. Now THAT's how you sing about edgy topics.
I don't want this to happen without the other classic members. Without them, it would just be a tribute band with Angus in it.

Hell yeah, that would be awesome! Don't get me wrong people, I appreciate all sorts of music, but Metal is WAY too low, it needs to get to a better spot. The most common reason I think for Metal music being this low is because of peoples' different interpretation of how things are and what they mean, especially being called satanic music. But, enough talking... Metal becoming popular again would be amazing, imagine people banging to some Iron Maiden again! M/ METAL m/ (With respect for other music too. )
