The Top Ten
1 Back In Black

Awesome song! This is one of the best songs of AC/DC. It's the title track of the second best-selling album of all time and is, by far, their best song, I would say.

Man, do I feel like jumping while hearing this song! Cheers!

This is the greatest song ever written. I don't understand how it doesn't surpass Bohemian Rhapsody as the greatest song of all time. If you don't know this song, then something is VERY wrong with you. This song's album should also be at the top of the greatest albums list. AC/DC is the greatest band of all time, so they should have taken Michael Jackson's place on the list of greatest albums. Go AC/DC!

2 Thunderstruck

I'm not particularly into AC/DC, but I know when a song transcends its genre, and this one does. This is so much better than "Back in Black." That riff is absolutely infectious. When I listen to it, it makes me feel amazingly good. I feel this way when I listen to "Time" by Pink Floyd or "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley. It's just a great song.

I can't decide between this, Highway to Hell, Back in Black, and You Shook Me All Night Long as far as my favorite AC/DC tune goes.

I love the opening and the way it builds and gathers momentum. It's such a departure from the more traditional, harder-sounding guitar work on their other tunes. Timeless stuff.

3 Highway to Hell

The cool thing about this album, even though it was Bon's last, is that it opened the doors for many new bands in the 1980s. Some of these bands even did tributes to Bon. Examples include Guns N' Roses (who merged with AC/DC for the Rock or Bust tour), Metallica covered Highway to Hell, Megadeth covered Problem Child, Anthrax covered TNT, Exodus covered Overdose and Dirty Deeds, and Motorhead covered It's a Long Way to the Top. Iron Maiden covered Sin City, but these aren't isolated examples. Song name similarities are often known as well, such as in the case of Motley Crue with Live Wire and Bad Boy Boogie. Of course, other tributes take place, like Ozzy Osbourne with Suicide Solution, Crazy Train, and No More Tears, just to name a few. Motorhead with Ace of Spades, Metallica with Jump in the Fire, The Prince, Hit the Lights, Whiplash, Fade to Black, and several other Metallica songs as well.

4 Hells Bells

Saying Back in Black is your favorite AC/DC song is like saying Down With the Sickness is your favorite Disturbed song. They're the most popular by each group, but definitely NOT the best. This song is the best from the Back in Black album, hands down!

Perfect song! Brian Johnson's best vocal. I wonder if Mutt Lange pushed Brian to hit those high notes. It just keeps ascending. Bon was great, but this song could only have been produced this way with Brian Johnson singing. 5 stars!

I've listened to all of AC/DC's songs, and this one sends chills up and down my spine. See what I did there? No? Okay. This song is my favorite of all their great music. When I'm in the car, nothing makes me feel more badass than blasting this song!

5 T.N.T.

This is the song that got me into AC/DC as well! This song kicks ass! Lock up your daughter, lock up your wife, lock up your back door and run for your life! The man is back in town, so don't mess me around!

This song on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 was my childhood. My sister and I would always play that game and set it to only play this song over and over. Great riff and lyrics - a true classic.

The greatest AC/DC song. No, wait... I mean the greatest hard rock song of all time. This song is so awesome. This is my favorite AC/DC song. Forget Thunderstruck, forget Back in Black, this song is the bomb... literally.

6 You Shook Me All Night Long

I love this song to death. I get up and rock out, and it even brings me to tears of joy every time. What more can I say? My neighbors have to put up with the song blasting out. My windows rattle and vibrate. I have this song on so many times and so loud.

This is a great song that builds from the first second. I was into voting for this amazing song, as well as Touch Too Much. It's so catchy. I don't know if there will ever be a band with the same talent. I just wish and believe that in a good few years, they will have the same drummer, singer, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, and bassist. I love this band.

7 Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

I think Dirty Deeds is my favorite song. It has always been my favorite AC/DC song since I was 7. I still listen to this song today. In fact, I am listening to it right now!

Bon Scott will never be equaled, and this tune is the epitome of classic AC/DC. You immediately get hooked by the opening guitar chords...

You might say I'm a heretic, but Thunderstruck isn't much to my taste. However, D4C might be the best AC/DC song for me, alongside Ballbreaker. That's all I've got to say.

8 Shoot to Thrill

To me, Shoot To Thrill is AC/DC's most progressive song. Cliff Williams' bass playing is off the charts, especially live. When you hear how he plays the bass in this song (similar to his progressive band roots, prior to AC/DC), you can really appreciate how he was willing to pull back and make the song more important than the bass riff. Well done, Cliff! You can't help but stand and clap to Angus' guitar tapping in the middle of the song. With Brian Johnson's unbelievable vocals, this song may be in the top ten of any song, ever!

9 For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)

I feel this is the best AC/DC song out there. When you listen to it, you just get chills throughout your body. It's classic rock at its best. I just don't understand why it's not in the top five. In a popularity contest, Back in Black would win, but I still think this is the best, and many people agree with me.

Hearing this song live is pure magic. Especially when they go all out and bring multiple cannons.
Brian Johnson: For Those About to Rock...
Crowd: FIRE!
Cannons: (BOOM)
Brian Johnson: We Salute You!
Every time I hear this song, I shiver with enjoyment. I wouldn't say it's the best AC/DC song, but it's certainly my favorite.

10 It's a Long Way to the Top

Although it doesn't have as much recognition, this song sums up AC/DC the best. Honestly, it's hard to choose because every song is good in its own regard. However, this is just a classic. It's hard to give a newer song more credit when this was one of the songs that made them famous. Back in Black and Thunderstruck are overplayed at this point. You've got to dig deeper into the Bon Scott era.

This just epitomizes what AC/DC is! This is the greatest Rock 'n' Roll anthem ever by the greatest band to ever play Rock 'n' Roll anthems. What other band could ever do a call and answer between a bagpipe and a guitar? In 1000 years, when our descendants dig up our artifacts, they will find this song and say, "This is the music that shaped their being!" (Too much? A little over the top?)

The Contenders
11 Whole Lotta Rosie

Best solo ever! This song, performed live, is one of the greatest songs to come from the album Let There Be Rock. If you haven't heard this song, go search for it on YouTube. You'll listen to it over and over again. Angus plays the solo like his life depends on it, and the beginning is awesome as well.

This is easily their best song by a long shot. To me, all their songs are masterpieces, but this one beats them all. While they're all fantastic songs, personally, I think most of the songs ranked above this one are just commercial. This should be number 1, or third at least! (Just my personal preference.)

12 Let There Be Rock

This should be #1. Love that relentless driving beat. It starts out hard and fast and keeps it up! It's like a marathon. Don't they ever get tired? And Angus has an amazing solo. He's like the Energizer Bunny! When they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this was the song Brian Johnson integrated into his speech. Enough said. Let There Be Rock rules!

All-time favorite. This song has all the power and energy. It burns and has it all. Hear the riff, the voice, the rhythm... and you've got it, believe me. Good night and rock well.

13 Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

This should be a top ten song. I don't know what it's doing at number 16 on this list! By the way, is it just me, or does Brian Johnson sound a bit like Bon Scott in this song?

This song is simply one of the greatest classics ever made. Being so low down the order just doesn't do justice to this awesome song!

Why is this so low? This is an amazing song, by any standard. Sure, there are songs like Thunderstruck, but this is just a classic.

14 Rock 'N' Roll Train

The guitar riffs make you dance like hell. It's on par with Back in Black and Thunderstruck. One of the best AC/DC songs! You simply enjoy every second of the song, and it never gets boring.

It's easily their best song. I can't get bored of it, and the guitar riffs are amazing! It's really worth listening to if you haven't yet, because I love AC/DC, and I love this song even more.

Honestly, I think this song should be in the top three. It's one of their best songs since Highway to Hell. Actually, it even seems better than Highway to Hell.

15 Jailbreak

"There was a friend of mine on murder, and the judge gave him hell. The jury found him guilty, gave him sixteen years in Hell!" Fantastic song about a man doing all in the name of liberty!

How is this song so low? What a fantastic rock song! One of the very best of the Bon Scott era, which was when they did their best work.

The part where it goes silent and Bon says, "With a bullet in his back!" and then they go back into the chorus is just magical.

16 Touch Too Much

This is unbelievable! What is this song doing down here? Am I the only person who's listened to this and realized what an awesome song this is? I can't listen to it without singing or dancing, for that matter! If you like AC/DC in the slightest, you should get yourself on YouTube and listen to this song right now!

This is my favorite, although it's not one of the most famous. It's not as explosive as other AC/DC songs, but it has a catchy rhythm and a perfect interaction between Angus's guitar and Bon Scott's vocals.

17 Moneytalks

Very underrated. The vocals and their contrast with the guitar part are amazing. It's so catchy, and the guitar solos are cool. It's not their best song, but it should at least be in the top ten.

Very underrated. This is the best AC/DC song and has the best solo. This song should be in the top 3, and Back in Black should be under the top 20. People vote for it because it's the most well-known song, but it isn't that good.

One of my favorite songs of all time! I can't believe it's at number 14 right now. It's by far one of their easiest songs to get into. I guess I'm just shocked that more people aren't into this.

18 If You Want Blood (You've Got It)

Mate, if you are just starting to like AC/DC, or you enjoy the band's music, this is a great song to listen to and even play on the guitar. I totally recommend this song and/or album to anyone who is a huge AC/DC fan like me. AC/DC is the best band ever, and no other band could make better songs even if they tried!

My absolute favorite AC/DC song ever. All of their songs are great, but this one just gets you pumped up for anything! I always listen to this in my '67 Mustang and have hit 100 mph more than a few times with this song blaring!

19 High Voltage

This is classic Acca Dacca. I love Brian Johnson, but Bon Scott is a legend, and this tune just rocks. It has its roots in Chuck Berry and adds a snarling twist. Its brittle opening chords and cool groove can't fail to get the party rocking. The vocals are quiet in the mix, and its production is so creative. This needs to go up in the ratings.

I'm a percussionist, and honestly, I like this drum part the best. First of all, AC/DC's drums have the best tone, and secondly, it should be ranked higher. But I can understand, given that it is AC/DC, and all their songs are amazing.

20 The Razors Edge

This song is absolute magic! It has a nice dark tinge to it that most of their other songs don't really have. And might I say that the backing vocals just add to the whole dark feel. Top-notch!

I love this song. It's a shame it's so underrated. Definitely their heaviest song. The atmosphere is just amazing. It should be in the top ten.

How can it be out of the top ten? Comes The Razor's Edge! The atmosphere of it is magic.

21 Walk All Over You

Clearly, this is one of AC/DC's best and most underrated songs. I remember buying Highway to Hell from a record store when I was a kid. When it got to this song, I played it about five more times before I moved on.

Every time I try to consider this one being lower than #1 in the ranking, it simply doesn't want to go.

Best song I've heard by AC/DC, and I'm quite the fan. Clearly, this song should be up in the top 10.

22 Givin' the Dog a Bone

I can leave the air guitar down when this track comes on.

This one is, in my opinion, the best song on the Back in Black album. Pure badassery in one song.

23 Stiff Upper Lip

Just got into AC/DC this year. I've been buying their CDs one at a time and just caught up with this one. SUL stood out immediately. Being a newbie, I come in with fresh ears that haven't heard these songs since the mid-70s. Also liked Meltdown and Safe in NYC.

Because it's one of the best AC/DC songs ever! It gives a good feeling when you're listening to this while driving.

It's a must-have on the top rock songs of all time!

One of their most recent, best, and underrated songs of all time.

24 What Do You Do for Money Honey

In my opinion, this is the hardest rocking AC/DC song around. That mammoth riff, those screaming vocals, the pounding drums, and of course, that sexy, thumping bass. It's the roughest, toughest song there is. Rock hard, rock on!

This wasn't on here, so I put it on. Come on, it's an amazing song. Why isn't it already on here?

A very underrated AC/DC song. It's one of the best songs on the Back in Black album!

25 Girls Got Rhythm

I always hated AC/DC. I did a Google search for must-have metal albums, and Back in Black was at the top. I was blown away. I now have almost the entire collection. This one is probably my favorite at this point. Funny how a band I hated is now up there with the likes of Led Zeppelin, U2, and Pink Floyd. Love AC/DC.

So catchy and underrated. By far my favorite AC/DC song. Too bad they never play it live.
