Top 10 Best Asian Disney Characters

Here are the best Asian Disney characters! I'm not only including the ones from movies, Asian characters from Disney shows could be included as well.
The Top Ten
1 Mulan (Mulan) Fa Mulan, a character inspired by an actual historic figure is a character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 36th animated feature film Mulan, as well as its sequel Mulan II.

We all knew this beautiful woman would be on the list! Was there ever any doubt? Mulan is a girl who wants to bring honor to her family. In order to do this, she takes the place of her father and becomes a warrior. I find it hard to believe that no one noticed she was a girl, especially in the scene where she's in the lake with the other boys.

I consider her the hottest female character to ever appear in a Disney film. She is such a great character. By the way, I watched the sequel to Mulan recently, and that was the worst Disney sequel I have ever seen!

2 Hiro Hamada (Big Hero 6) Hiro Hamada is a fictional character who appears as the main character in the 2014 movie Big Hero 6 and is in the Big Hero 6 comics named Hiro Takachino

Here we have the main character from Big Hero 6, Hiro Hamada. Hiro is the younger brother of Tadashi, and in his spare time, he enjoys competing in bot battles. But that all changed when he met a group of friends and they formed their own superhero team to avenge the death of Tadashi.

Hiro does a good job leading the team. After Baymax got left in the portal, Hiro rebuilt him when he found out that Baymax had taken out the healthcare chip. So yeah, Hiro is a very smart kid.

Hiro... I feel so bad for him. He saved San Fransokyo. I will always respect you. You are my favorite Asian, aside from Kim Jong-Un.

3 GoGo Tomago (Big Hero 6)

Before seeing the movie Big Hero 6, I thought Gogo was going to be one of those types of characters who's hot but a total jerk. However, in the actual movie, she's hot and only partially a jerk. It's what I like the most about her. Just like the other characters, she is very smart.

Also, her voice actress is smokin' hot! She's voiced by Jamie Chung, whom you may know from that VERY awful movie, Dragonball: Evolution. Gogo is the best character in Big Hero 6. She is so cool!

She is dope and well-animated. Sometimes I wish she was my best friend.

4 Jasmine (Aladdin) She is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 31st animated feature film Aladdin (1992).

Yes, she is Asian. By definition, anyone who is native to the continent of Asia is, well, Asian.

5 Silvermist (Tinker Bell) Silvermist is one of the major fairies in the Disney Fairies franchise. Silvermist is a water-talent fairy of East Asian appearance.

Silvermist is a water fairy from the Tinkerbell movies who is voiced by Lucy Liu. Silvermist was definitely my favorite thing about the Tinkerbell movies. I find her to be very cute and funny. She's the only fairy I find to be more attractive than Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell is still cool, but Silvermist is even better.

6 Li Shang (Mulan)

Let's get down to business and talk about how awesome Li Shang is. If you've seen the Disney film Mulan, you probably remember one of the best Disney songs of all time, I'll Make a Man Out of You. I love that song so much that I sang it in a high school performance. Shang is a cool and tough character.

7 Candy Chiu (Gravity Falls) Candy Chiu is a character in the cartoon Gravity Falls made by Alex Hirsch. She's known for being Mabel and Grenda's best friend.

Are you the lost sister of Kim Chiu?

8 Aladdin (Aladdin) Aladdin is a fictional character and the protagonist of Disney's 1992 animated feature film Aladdin, and its two direct-to-video sequels The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

I'm going to assume that people just forgot he's Asian. Otherwise, we've got a serious problem. But seriously, eighteenth place? We can do better than that, guys.

9 Russell (Up)

From the third-best Pixar film of all time, Russell is a character I find hilarious. He cracks me up all the time. While trying to earn his "Assist the Elderly" badge, he meets Carl Fredricksen. Little does he know, he's about to embark on the greatest adventure of his life. Along the way, he meets a dog named Doug and a bird he names Kevin. He continues to call her Kevin even after finding out she is female. What sense does that make?

Russell is one of the best side characters ever!

10 Cass Hamada (Big Hero 6)

Aunt Cass is the hottest aunt I've ever seen. Well, she was until Captain America: Civil War came out. Now, Aunt May holds that title. However, Aunt Cass is still cool. She's very caring towards Hiro. Ever since Hiro's parents died (because it's a Disney movie), it's been Cass's responsibility to look after him. How sweet!

The Contenders
11 Jake Long (American Dragon: Jake Long) Jake Long is the protagonist of the animated series "American Dragon: Jake Long." He is a Chinese-American teenager who discovers that he is a magical dragon, responsible for protecting the magical community. Jake balances the challenges of adolescence with his dragon responsibilities, often leading... read more

Ah yeah! Jake Long in the house! American Dragon: Jake Long was such a great show! It's about a kid who can turn into a dragon. How awesome is that? Jake Long is voiced by Dante Basco, whom you may know as Prince Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and some kid in Hook. Jake Long seems like a cool guy to hang out with.

I remember watching American Dragon: Jake Long in my cousin's room when I was like 3 years old. I used to be so addicted to this show.

12 Vanellope von Schweetz (Wreck-It Ralph)
13 Mowgli (The Jungle Book)
14 Tadashi Hamada (Big Hero 6) Tadashi Hamada is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 54th animated feature, Big Hero 6. The film is inspired by a Marvel comic book of the same name.

Tadashi is the older brother of Hiro Hamada in the film Big Hero 6. He attends a school filled with science enthusiasts and creates a robot that can assist with healthcare, namely Baymax. Tadashi was a cool guy until his unfortunate death. He sacrificed himself to save Callaghan. Very tragic.

The main problem is that he didn't get enough development for me to feel adequately sad about his death.

I liked him. Why did he have to die?

15 Mushu (Mulan)
16 Stacy Hirano (Phineas and Ferb) Stacy Hirano, often nicknamed Stace by her friends, is a supporting character of Disney’s popular animated TV show Phineas and Ferb.
17 Moana (Moana) Moana is the protagonist of Disney's 2016 animated feature film of the same name. Born on the island village of Motunui, Moana is the daughter of Chief Tui and Sina, with an inherited love for the seas and voyaging. When her island becomes endangered, Moana is chosen by the ocean to journey across the... read more
18 London Tipton (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody)

I just love her! She's not very smart on the show, given that she had to repeat her last year of high school multiple times. I guess she was kind of selfish too.

19 Nani Pelekai (Lilo & Stitch)
20 Lilo Pelekai (Lilo & Stitch)
21 Ravi Ross (Jessie)
22 David Kawena (Lilo & Stitch)
23 Anne Boonchuy (Amphibia) Anne Boonchuy (Thai: แอนน์ สาวิสา บุญช่วย) is a fictional Thai-American Female character who serves as the main protagonist of the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia. She is voice by Brenda Song.
