Top Ten Avenged Sevenfold Band Members

The Top Ten
1 The Rev James Owen Sullivan (February 9th, 1981 - December 28th 2009), better known by his stage name "The Rev" (Short for "The Reverend Tholomew Plague") was an American musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the former drummer, backing vocalist and co-founder of the American alternative metal/ metalcore band Avenged Sevenfold. He was also in the metalcore stage of Avenged Sevenfold. He is often regarded as one of the world's best drummers, especially in the 21st century. He is not only known as one of the best drummers of the bands history, but also crucial to Avenged Sevenfold as a backing vocalist, making the song "A Little Piece Of Heaven" possible.

He can sing, play the drums, play the piano, and write songs. If he were alive today, the band would be even better. R.I.P The Rev.
foREVer!

The Rev will always be in my heart! He is the best!

He was multitalented member in Avenged Sevenfold R.I.P THE REV

2 Synyster Gates Brian Elwin Haner, Jr., better known by his stage name Synyster Gates or simply Syn, is an American musician, best known for being the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band Avenged Sevenfold.

I'd say he's the best member. Cause only because of him A7X still can be called talented. Other members are also talented but he's ahead than other members.

His name says it all

3 M. Shadows
4 Zacky Vengeance Zachary James Baker, better known by his stage name Zacky Vengeance, is an American musician, best known as the rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist, and founding member for the American alternative metal/ metalcore band Avenged Sevenfold. Zacky V. also owns a small clothing company, Vengeance University.

Best god damn guitar player there ever was

5 Johnny Christ Jonathan Lewis Seward, known as Johnny Christ, is the bassist of the American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Seward is the fourth bassist to join Avenged Sevenfold in 2003, replacing former member Dameon Ash.

The only bass player of Avenged to stay

6 Justin Sane

Played on the one album where you can hear the bass in every song without intentionally trying to hear it, of all the bass players he's most like Johnny

7 Mike Portnoy Michael Portnoy is an American drummer primarily known as the former drummer, backing vocalist, and a co-founder of the progressive metal/rock band Dream Theater. Known for his technical skill as a drummer, Portnoy has won 30 awards from the Modern Drummer magazine.

He was only a guest drummer. But he's A LOT better than Rev.

Temporary replacement drummer before Arin

8 Dameon Ash

The most muscular bass player, very goodlooking, left for unknown reasons, last bass player before Johnny

9 Matt Wendt
10 Brooks Wackerman

He is the "New guy" but he is amazing. I will always love The REV but Brooks is probably the best fit for them! Amazing drummer with great technique and groove, and such a musical and creative songwriter! The fans seems to love him as well, glad he gets the cred and attention he deserves!

I like his last name a lot and also I don’t know exactly if it was him but the double bass intro to the stage sounds really hard and awesome

The Contenders
11 Arin Ilejay

Plays drums on their worst album
