My Chemical Romance isn't an emo band, I do listen to emo bands and My Chemical Romance is definitely not emo, this is the best band I have ever listened to, and they do have a lot of emo fans (like me)

They aren't emo and are overrated however your genre description is false, I would say the are alternative/ pop-punk. calling them post hardcore is giving them way to much credit.

True, actually, they even said that they aren't. Started insulting emo actually, but still my life, not going to lie.

Leave Andy alone...emo is more than just the way the music sounds. It's the message it sends to your heart. It inspires you to feel, to keep going, to be stronger, that you are not nothing. Everyone has their own band that helps them. Don't argue about it, embrace it. ❤

Knives and Pens was kind of emo; when they ditched their metalcore phase they become more glam metal

I think that they are emo because of their songs

More like electronic rap rock, maybe a little hardcore punk

They're not emo, they have many different genres and deep lyrics

They're trap and pop for those people claiming "they fit no genre they're too unique"

A lot of emo kids listen to them but it doesn't mean that they are
