Almost every Pink Floyd song includes a guitar solo and I love how they were played. The feeling in Gilmours guitar playing is just incredible and it gives that progressive sound in their music.

Heavy, melodic, fast and technical at the same time. This is the combination that works best for me.
My favorite solos from Jeff Waters - Schizos (Are Never Alone) Parts I & II, Alison Hell, The Trend, Imperiled Eyes, and many more because he's a born soloist. Dave Mustaine wanted him in Megadeth as a lead guitarist. Jeff Waters is also a great riff master but this is another story.
