People can say whatever they want about a shock performer, but that fuels their fire. Shock performance is about shock, and shock arouses feelings of hatred and disgust. If he wanted to please parents he wouldn't have decided to be in the performing arts/entertainment industry.

My parents hate him, and I love him. I won't buy any of his actual CDs, because I know my parents would forbid it. I buy them from iTunes instead.
It's a shame Antichrist Superstar isn't sold on iTunes in Canada.

It's good that parents hate him. That's what he wants. Fear and hatred makes him what he is, and he has some incredible music so I can't thank those against him enough.

My parents don't like rap so they don't know who they are, but if they did they would probably hate them. I mean, NWA literally stands for "N***** With Attitude".

I know I'm sound rude for saying this but the parents who think that all rock/heavy metal bands are bad influences should go to hell. That's a question I will not tolerate. I've been listening to rock and metal my whole entire life and nothing bad has ever happened to me. There are some rock/metal bands that are really good role models. In fact, some rock and metal can prevent suicide and murder because most rock/metal songs tell them that they're not the only ones who are angry in the world.

Haha, my parents hate Slipknot. They find the masks to be overly eerie and can't relate relate to the music much. Sucks to be them though, they're missing out.

I'm wearing a Hollywood Undead shirt right now!
