These are not only bands that I started to listen to during my teens but also bands you've might started listening to in your teens. With that said let's get started.... any genre is allowed for this list as long as it's a band not just a singer.

6 Judas Priest Judas Priest are a British heavy metal band that formed in Birmingham, England, in 1969. They are often referred to as one of the greatest metal bands of all time, and are even commonly called “The Metal Gods”, after one of the songs on their 1980 album “British Steel”.

From Tyson's vocals, to the entire instruments that give up a Pop- Punk vibe. Which just like any demographic I'm quite sure got teens to listen to them.

10 Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine is a rap metal band formed in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of vocalist Zack de la Rocha, bassist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello and drummer Brad Wilk.

Why is just metal and rock listed?
I loved Take That when I was between 14-16 and before that it was New Kids On The Block (yah, I know...don't laugh).
