1 Dream Theater Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was formed in 1985 under the name of "Majesty", only to change its name to Dream Theater later. ...read more.

Always comment on Dream Theaters "genius" which just comes out as half musical jerk-off sessions of pretentiousness. Only for people who think music is a competition

Of course we're annoying. How else would we rave about their boundless talent?

Actually, a lot of Dream Theater fans are supportive.

2 Pink Floyd Pink Floyd are an English progressive rock band formed in 1965 in London, England. They achieved international acclaim with their progressive and psychedelic music. Pink Floyd is a good band, don't get me wrong. But, Pink Floyd fans won't take any other opinions and think that they are the best band ever, and Dark Side is the best album of all time.

And there are the kind of Pink Floyd fans who only listen to The Dark Side of The Moon, Animals, The Wall and Wish You Were Here. I prefer Obscured By Clouds, Ummagumma and the two post-Waters albums.

Well, I like more than only The Dark Side Of The Moon.

3 Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin was an English hard rock band formed in London in 1968 as the New Yardbirds. The group consisted of Robert Plant (Vocal), Jimmy Page (Guitar), John Paul Jones (Bass, Keyboard) and John Bonham (Drums) and was very much the child of Jimmy Page who even financed their first tour. He had tasted some previous success with The [original] Yardbirds and was friendly with some big names in rock. Page states it was Keith Moon of The Who that claimed the band could only go down, like a lead balloon -- thus prompting the iconic name of Led Zeppelin. The band's heavy, guitar-driven sound, rooted in blues and psychedelia on their early albums, has earned them recognition as one of the progenitors ...read more.

Please, don't get me wrong, I do love Led Zep but I hate how protective their fans are. What I mean is that someone will make a list of greatest bands and put let's say the Beatles, but the fans will come in and say "no it's not! It's Led Zeppelin! "

Would Someone Tell Me Why?

The band consists of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments), Colin Greenwoood (bass guitar), Phil Selway (drums), and Ed O'Brien (guitar).

For much of their career, the band consisted of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way, and drummer Bob Bryar.

I love how everyone assumes that when people listen to My Chemical Romance that they cut and are emo. First of all, I don't cut and I'm not emo. Most people are surprised I listen to bands. Second of all, my friends listen to them to and they are far from emo. Thirdly, stop assuming you know the person by the type of music they listen to. Just because people listen to the music, doesn't mean they fit into the stereotype everyone claims them to be.

Better to be an annoying Linkin Park fan than a butthurt Dread Zeppelin fan.Led Zeppelin plagiarizes songs and are boring but Linkin Park is amazing.Whoever likes Led Zeppelin is either a 50 year old who is still stuck in the 60's and 70's or just some stupid "born in the wrong generation kid".-LitSavage

More than half of their albums have gone gold or platinum, as certified by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America).
