They both sing as well. If you don't like Pink Floyd and Rush, you should. Because these two are what make the bands what they are.

Both are very talented bassists and are also good at writing lyrics. This would be an interesting battle.

Either of these guys are the greatest of all-time when it comes to hard rock bassists.

Between Mudvayne and Korn's bassists, Ryan would be my winner, technically. Although Ryan did play as a touring bassist when Fieldy was having a kid.

If singing ability and especially writing ability are added to musical instrument ability in this contest, McCartney wins it hands down.
Actually, McCartney is one of those extreme rare people who can pick up almost any instrument and play it well.
