Norway is indeed a beautiful country from its big cities to small villages. It also has one of the best standards of living in the world and its economy is one of the most developed in the world. The cities are safe everywhere and just about everything in Norway is clean even its public transportations. The countryside of Norway is also calm and it has many places to visit such as fjords, mountains, forests, beaches, etc. Norway is also a perfect country to look at the Northern Lights. The cold climate makes Norway even more beautiful. Without a doubt, Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe and in the world.

Awful history, but Germany now has beautiful mountains, great food, a diverse population. The Black forests of Germany are amazing

Germany is the fairyland in Europe - unbelievably many castles and palaces, the Alps, the Black Forest and the Eiffel region. The beaches in the north are fascinating. In addition, there is the Fairytale Road, the Castle Road and the legendary Romantic Road. The cities are both modern and old and are very different, unlike the cities in Italy which are very similar. Incredible quality of life and infrastructure. Germany's economy comes mainly from industry, they don't attach much importance to tourism, yet Germany is among the top 10. But the people who come then enjoy the best service. In France or Italy it is full of tourists, you will never have a coffee or a beer in peace. The beer in Germany is the best and with the festivals it is a unique experience.

One of the best countries in Europe and in the world, I DEFINITELY, HIGHLY recommend that you go visit Croatia and it's regions such as Istria, Dalmatia, and Slavonia. Cities such as Split, Rovinj, Dubrovnik and Zagreb are pictures of beauty. I'm not just saying this because I'm Half-Croatian and Half-Italian, but ask people who are not Croatian and you will see that they would say the same thing.

Beautiful Adriatic coast and islands with historic towns, Venetian architecture at its best and palm tree lined-waterfronts. Then there is the Pannonian plain in the north with Austro-Hungarian architecture and its own charms. All of the country is very clean.

So underrated. Heck, Zadar won Europes best destination award 2016. We also have ranked cleanest beaches and cleanest water. Best place on Earth if you ask me.

12th? With Sweden, Germany and Poland ahead? I mean I get it a lot of people travelling to spain travel to pretty dull places with just the purpose of getting some sun. But seriously Spain should be at least in top 5, with it's so varied landscapes like seriously okey you like Ireland sure its beautiful for its green lush fields and celtic culture. But guess what Spain has exactly that along the northern atlantic coast, like seriously the landscapes are like Ireland (but with amazing white sanded long beaches). And then you combine that with the mediterreanean coast, and the landscapes of the south from everything to Sierra nevadas 3500 meters mountain range to deserts. Then you add the pyrenees mountains and all other mountain ranges plus the ballearic islands and the canary islands you have pretty much all climate zones a country could have. That is what makes this country so outstanding its diversity, SPAIN HAS EVERYTHING GUYS, STOP GOING TO DULL PLACES LIKE BENIDORM AND ACTUALLY DISCOVER THE COUNTRY. THEN you add up all cultural heritage (2nd in the world in cultural heritage sites) and the enormous culinary world spain has with so good food. Like seriously you want to place a country with just depressive uralic forest and basically no people like Sweden (I am swedish by the way) ahead of a country so beautiful in its diversity as spain.

8 England England, previously the Kingdom of England, is a constituent country of the United Kingdom along with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

England is a beautiful country. As a French person I admire them. Their landscapes, coasts, beaches, historic houses, gardens, etc are to die for and the way they keep their heritage organised should be admired by the world. England is a land of green landscapes, ancient woodlands, coats, villages, etc. And the land of scientists, engineers, queens, kinds, poets, writers, etc.

I'm always going to put dear old England first. It's not know as the 'green and pleasant land' for nothing. What's more beattiful (apart from London) than a little country pub, little villages, cricket matches in the sunshine? England has my heart and soul. Sing it if you will... "There'll always be an England, and England shall be free..."

I'll vote for England even though I'm American well because first of all, I would be stupid to put America on this list, and second I've been to England about two times before, and it is a very beautiful country indeed.
