Best Albums of 2013

The Top Ten
1 The Marshall Mathers LP 2 - Eminem

This album was just amazing. With the singles berzerk and rap god which were both great songs, especially rap god which was just a masterpiece. Then you add in the monster with rhianna sounding great. Then you have the sequel to one of his best works, Stan, Bad guy is a really good song and in the last verse it gets really intense and he pours out his mind and it's great and he gave us headlights with Nate Ruess which was a great song about his mom, a big apology and I love you which was great. Then we get legacy, so far, rhyme or reason, desperation, wicked ways, and love game which were all just great. Simply a great sequel to his marshal mathers lp

2 Random Access Memories - Daft Punk

RAM isn't just the best album of 2013. So far, it's probably the best album of the 2010s. It shows class, restraint, taste, and just plain talent not seen in the sparkly glitz of the pop divas, the grimy, mostly mediocre sludge of the rap world, and the just plain terribleness of the emo scene. (Seriously, what an awful excuse for music).

Music ahead of its time. So crisp, so detailed, with elements of retro and modern music. A piece of art that will definitely go down in history.

21? Are you kidding? A recent poll showed it to be top 3.

3 Sempiternal - Bring Me The Horizon

There was hope for 2013's music. And that hope was Sempiternal.

4 Hail to the King - Avenged Sevenfold

Hail to the king new single was awesome!
Can't wait for the album.. How shadows has described its gonna be.. Its gonna be classic.. Desparately waiting for Acid rain. :D

This needs the top spot! A7X Rocks!

Despite not minding a7x, I thought that this album was quite poor quality with only a few standout tracks

5 Immunity - Jon Hopkins

It's sorta sounds like Burial & Aphex Twin combined. Lovely fusion.

6 ... Like Clockwork - Queens of the Stone Age

The very moment I bought this album I listened to it in its entirety, and every track is brilliant, and even at points absolutely breathtaking, I'll just say that the song I appear Missing is possibly the best song Queens Of The Stone Age have ever made.

Just amazing. This album does not have a single bad song on it.

7 Modern Vampires of the City - Vampire Weekend

Everything about this album blows away everything about any other album made in 2013. If this doesn't get to the top 10 eventually, then send me your hat and I'll eat it.

8 Yeezus - Kanye West
9 ARTPOP - Lady Gaga

Yay! ARTPOP we have waited so long for you to come out! Us little monsters couldn't wait any longer! Now we have to be patient!

Can't wait for this! I have been waiting since the 'Marry The Night' music video back in December 2011 for new stuff. We know it'll be great Gaga! Can't wait!

10 Paramore - Paramore

This album is like a treasure hunt or a good book. Each time you listen, you hear something different, and it never gets old. Last Hope is one of their best songs ever, and every song is single worthy. One of the best albums of 2013.

Paramore did a great job! They did different genres and blend it with their sound. They did a wonderful change.

The Contenders
11 Beyoncé - Beyoncé
12 Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels
13 Rise - Skillet

This and Vessel by Twenty One Pilots are the two best this year.

A fantastic blend of all of skillet's previous work: This is truly an amazing album

14 Construct - Dark Tranquility

One of the most powerful albums ever. Best of 2013

15 What About Now - Bon Jovi

This album reflects the fact they are not the band they were decades ago... A more mature sound about what effects them now as a mature band... Not just party... Party.. Party... They have grown like there audience... Number one for a reason..

16 The 20/20 Experience - Justin Timberlake

I feel like I have been born in the wrong generation... I can't believe that Snoop Dogg, Paramore or whatever other is above this... This album is critically and commercially more successful than any other album on this chart... It has got class and style both... JT just rocks!...

IT doesn't offend me that it's not in the top ten, because this is just the generation nowadays: They don't appreciate good music.

How is this not in the top 10? The best album of the year with a loely fusion of sound and lyrics and beats. JT IS BACK!

17 AM - Arctic Monkeys

I truly am baffled that this album wasn't already on the list. It's the second fastest selling of the year so far (behind Daft Punk), and it contains the best song this year (Do I Wanna Know? ). Arguably, it's their best album yet, and it covers so many areas, creating a different mood with each song. This is a fantastic album.

Are you really placing a guy named 'Earl Sweatshirt' above this epic band? Come on internet...

18 Native - OneRepublic

This is a great album it has so many good songs like If I Lose Myself, Something I Need, Counting Stars, Au Revoir, Burning Bridges, Preacher, etc. Then again, it's OneRepublic, of course all the songs are gonna be good.

A flawless album with music of unique kinds... Just go for the song 'Can't Stop' and you'll understand!
Definitely deserves to be topper than 28! (while Mr. Funky Wayne's up there in 18th)

Really really good whether you like this type of music or not this album is impressive

19 Nothing Was the Same - Drake
20 Talking Dreams - Echosmith
21 Pure Heroine - Lorde

Seriously!
What is wrong with you guys?
It should not be number 40!
I really love this album and its songs..
Shame on you :-(

22 Temper Temper - Bullet for My Valentine
23 Britney Jean - Britney Spears

A very rushed and unoriginal album, not to mention that Myah Marie (Britney's bg singer) sings most of the tracks in this album instead of Britney.

This is her lowest selling album and it totally shouldn't be.

24 Demi - Demi Lovato

Why is this at 29! Its much better than Selena's Stars Dance! It MUST be in the top ten. Vote for it Guys!

25 Acid Rap - Chance the Rapper
