This is absolutely pitiful. Acts like the Beastie Boys, who are good but 1000% rap, and Fall Out Boy, the worst band I have ever heard, over the true rock legends that are the White Stripes? They are to the 2000's what Nirvana was to the 1990's. Absolutely terrible to see.

What, the white stripes essentially started the Indy alternative rock movement of the 21st century.
Oasis were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. Developed from an earlier group, the Rain, the band originally consisted of Liam Gallagher (vocals and tambourine), Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll.
It is hard to see that oasis, one of the greatest band, is down here below...

I think these guys need to be at the top, have you heard them they are fantastic and they have so much influence with the music culture today. They even have done a song with Green Day about hurricane Katrina. Plus they've been around sense 1982 that's a big accomplishment too!
U2 are AMAZING if a little outdated. But come on, 44th? VOTE!
