Best Cartoon Network Shows of 2013

The Top Ten
1 Adventure Time Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (voiced by John DiMaggio)—a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. Throughout the show, they... read more

Looking at all the lists Adventure time is pretty controversial and everyone's opinion varies. This show was reccomended to me by a friend and I was skeptical watching the first few episodes but there are good episodes sprinkled around. The thing I really like is the hidden messages behind some episodes and how even kids will enjoy it regardless of it's "deep" morals. My favorites are probably the episodes that involve Marceline's past but that's just because they decide to go deeper into her history more than everyone else (I don't know why we can't learn more about the other characters though). Best part is that the show (at least tries to) avoid plot holes. The recent episodes make references to past episodes. Some things we question get answered on and there's even foreshadowing (wow! ). But sticking with it's episodic nature Adventure Time isn't confusing if you decide to skip some episodes or watch only one. It's not too confusing and sometimes you can just watch it for the heck of it.

2 Regular Show Regular Show is an American animated television series created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered on September 6, 2010. The series revolves around the lives of two friends, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby—both employed as groundskeepers at a local park.

Regular Show just has a more realistic attitude towards life than Adventure Time. Don't get me wrong, I love both shows dearly (I've got more AT and RS than I know what to do with), but I can just relate to RS much better than AT. I mean when was the last time YOU got stalked by the Ice King, hang out with PRISMO and THE COSMIC OWL, or save your orange magic dog from a demon? However, it's easy to relate to dumping your boyfriend because you have to leave for college... Even if you're under attack from a parodied, animatronic Chuck E Cheese gang with bullets flying through the air...

Show is full of excitement and is the best show hands down since the Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Unfortunately it is belittled by the fact it reaches to a slightly older audience on a mainly 7-12 year crowd.

This show makes my Fridays and my day in general 100X's better. I look forward to a new episode every week and if there isn't one I just go online and watch an episode or two virtually everyday. Regular Show is absolutely amazing.

3 Amazing World of Gumball

This is one of the shows I really love of all time. It's very attracting and viewers will love it. The show is a hilarious and entertaining type. All the characters in this show are funny so I like them all. I really like how they mix the realistic graphics from the animation graphics.

The Amazing World of Gumball is a funny, crazy, and ultimately entertaining show. Its colorful cast is hilariously relatable to any person who gets in its path. Even people like my parents find it funny.

Probably my favorite show of all time. It's basically things that happen in real life, but exaggerated! Also, the characters are well made and each one has different personalities. It's a great show for all ages!

This show I think is clearly the best, it deals with comedy, entertainment, and action this show has been running along side with adventure time and regular show since it came

4 Johnny Test Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, for the first season, and Cookie Jar, for the remainder of the series. It aired from September 17, 2005 to December 25, 2014 on Kids' WB and Cartoon Network in the United States and on Teletoon in Canada.

Love this show better than the amazing world of gumball Johnny test reminds me of dexters laboratory mixed with regular show again better than the amazing world of gumball should be number 3 or at least higher than the amazing world of gumball

I hate the amazing world of gumball it's sucks badly every time I watch it I get depressed because that's what Cartoon Network just has the amazing world of gumball Johnny test it's awesome and it makes me happy

Yes! but Johnny test is better than the amazing world of gumball that's the only problem with this list in other words put Johnny test higher than the amazing world of gumball

This is a good show guys who cares about rip offs they are still different anyways we can't always come up with something new or original every time

5 Tom and Jerry Tales Tom and Jerry Tales is an American animated television series starring the Academy Award-winning cat-and-mouse duo Tom and Jerry.

Tom and Jerry is the best because it was from old days and its a classic cartoon

This show is funny for everyone

Great animation, great storylines, great idea, what could go wrong?

It is best cause every one understand it regardless of language

6 Total Drama World Tour Total Drama World Tour is a Canadian animated television series that aired in 2010. The series is known for its parody of reality television shows, particularly survival competitions. I've watched this show since the beginning! I love all of characters and stuff about them! I recommend this show to anyone who cares to take the time to watch it. And I realize that it not for everyone, but it's awesome. I also know all of the songs from season 3 (the musical season. People should watch Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama Revenge of The Island, and the new season premiering in September 2013 Total Drama All-Stars!

Easily one of the best things to come out of Cartoon Network in the past years while the new selection is just awful. Sure, it's the same total drama thing all over again, but it's a system that works and will always be enjoyable

Yeah... Probably this season is not as good as the first one, but is still amazing :D, with comedy, romance, action and, of course, DRAMAA!

I just LOVE this show. The singing makes it better. I memorized all the lyrics.

7 Dragon Ball Z Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable ...read more.

I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but... Dragonball Z is awesome. I agree this should be number 1 based on this list. However it's not the best anime out there. I'm tired of people always saying that DBZ is the best anime ever. True it was great for its time. But there is no best anime ever. Every anime is unique in it's own special way. Those who say DBZ is the best anime ever obviously haven't watched a lot of anime. I'm sorry for what I said. But I am kinda tired of everyone saying DBZ is the best, and ignoring every other anime out there.

My favorite anime and T.V. show while I was a kid, story constructed right, one of the best ideas in its time and the actual one, for its time... just the best should be at least number four, because we all remember and future should keep it. I like adventure time, yet this is a classic and masterpiece that is worth cheking out.

You are total idiots. Dragon Ball Z is the best anime I've ever seen or even the best anime in history of man kind. How the hell this show isn't number 1

Don't you know that the greatest hero is goku and goku is in this episode! You would be mental if you don't put this up

8 Teen Titans GO! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. The show follows a superhero group called the Teen Titans, and shows what happens when they go home and have silly adventures. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television ...read more.

The episode where the boys get stuck in the elevator is hilarious. And the girls go on a date with doctor light? Couldn't stop laughing. I mean Robin the caged tiger? Lmao funny!

This show started out OK enough, with decent characters and funny episodes. Then it turned into a TODDLER SHOW. I mean, COOTIES?!

I really miss the original teen titans they are the only dc heroes I like.

This was my only reason to live, besides Phineas and Ferb, Arthur, and Tara Strong.

9 Young Justice Young Justice is an American animated television series developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network.

Simply amazing 1st season and very well written second season. I can't wait for the 3rd season to come out. If it is anything like its predecessor it will bring the show back to life.

The show shouldn't be cancel like this. It should go on till the end for all the fans

Please bring back Young Justice, it's the best show I've ever watched

The cancellation of this show broke my heart

10 The Looney Tunes Show The Looney Tunes Show is an American animated television series that premiered in 2011. It is a modern interpretation of the classic Looney Tunes characters, featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and others as they navigate contemporary suburban life. The show blends elements of comedy, drama, and adventure. The Looney Tunes Show received mixed reviews, with some praising its fresh take on iconic characters, while others missed the slapstick style of the original shorts.

Most people think remakes of films or shows are better but in this case utter waste of $ and time

This show was like king of the hill funny and it was great

Really boring and stupid

The Contenders
11 Steven Universe Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. The show's based around a young boy by the name of Steven Universe, who is a hybrid of a gem and a human. He lives with his gem friends, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl.

Why isint this number one next to Gumball? This is a amazing show...
Here's a short story... At first, I thought this show was gonna be complete crap, I saw the pilot, then didn't like it, and I saw the advertisement on T.V. and I thought it was STUPID. But then, over the eatser holiday this year, I saw a couple post on Tumblr about Steven Universe so I decided to watch one episode. The I was like "Oh wow, this show is pretty good. Its also very funny! " So then, I decided to watch another episode... Then another, then another. Then I finally became obsessed with Steven Universe. And hell yeah. Hands down. PEARL is my ultimate FAVORITE. I love Pearl's voice. I'm IN LOVE with Garnet's accent. I love Amethyst's personality and I love how Steven is so caring. I love the animation, the characters, the plot... I absolutely love everything about this show!

This deserves to be #1, with Gumball at #2. Steven Universe honestly is the only CN show left with good humor, character development, deep plots, excellent life lessons, and most of all, SU pushes the censor limits! I love the support of the LGBT community. And I am infatuated with the various body shapes! Garnet's tall and curvy, Amethyst is short and chunky, Pearl is skinny and flat-chested, Rose is tall and heavy-set, etc... It's seriously the best show of all time. Homophobic people beware, Steven Universe is your nightmare

This is one of the only good shows that isn't complete and random crap like uncle grandpa or regular show. It actually has an intense plot and amazing character development. It should be WAY higher up the list, and if you haven't watched Steven universe yet, I suggest you watch an episode (I recommend some episodes AFTER episode 30, that when things start getting intense and so the show won't look like crap)

This is the best new show CN had to offer in 2013. Uncle Grandpa's animation and stories make me want to cry, and UGH was everything else. Rebbeca Sugar is my Idol, she is a great songwriter and character developer and much much more, just like another idol of mine, Natasha Allegri.

12 Chowder Chowder is an American animated television series created by C.H. Greenblatt for Cartoon Network. The series follows an aspiring young child named Chowder and his day-to-day adventures as an apprentice in Chef Mung Daal's catering company.

Why is this on ten and not 9 places in front? It was creative at how they used textures behind the background and their clothes actually just an emptiness. Also, I just loved how their jokes worked. I'm watching the whole show on netflix.

I love it super duper much. I wish it would return on June 1st. A new season premeire, so. It'll be super exciting. I wouldn't be able to contain myself. Super great. Can you wait until then? Or maybe Boomerang will get a place for "Chowder". I'll tell Mr. Greenblatt (the creator of "Chowder") to bring it back to Cartoon Network.

This should be 1st

This show is so cute! 1! Especially Chowder! Radda radda

13 Total Drama Island Total Drama Island is a Canadian animated television series which premiered in Canada on Teletoon on July 8, 2007 and on June 5, 2008 in the U.S.

Did anyone notice that they changed the things that Lindsay said to Heather. She said that Heather is mean and bossy but it wasn't like that before. She was saying curse words to Heather that why everybody looked so supried. Even DUNCAN.

Total Drama Island is a very good classic cartoon. It, and it's other seasons are awesome!

One of the best in Cartoon Network

16 Star Wars: The Clone Wars Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an American 3D CGI animated television series created by George Lucas and produced by Lucasfilm Animation with the division Lucasfilm Animation Singapore, Lucasfilm and CGCG Inc.

Star Wars the Clone wars and The legend of Korra has been the only cartoons worth watching now a days that have a good story behind them. His should be number one.

Oh my! Why is Pokemon so low? It was the best, I'll admit now it's not the same, I mean what happened to Brock, ash and misty? And 151 Pokemon? Still it was a very good show.. Originally.

Pokemon is interesting cartoon there are many strange and cute Pokemons

It should be 1st ranked shows

18 Ninjago

It is so underrated. It deserves to be in the top 5.

19 Danny Phantom Danny Phantom is an American animated series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It was produced by Billionfold Studios and distributed in Canada by Nelvana, a Canadian animation company. The series follows a teenage boy who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone", becomes a human-ghost hybrid and takes on the task of saving his town (and the world) from subsequent ghost attacks using an evolving variety of supernatural powers. He is aided in his quest by his two best friends, and later, his older sister, who for most of the series' run are among the only people who know of his double life.

Dude... this is a Nickelodeon show... this list is for Cartoon Network SHOWS ONLY! I love Danny Phantom too, but this should not be on the list since it is not a CN show.

Who doesn't remember the awesome kid who transform into a ghost and uses a thermos to capture them!

Well... At least it's WAY BETTER then teen titans go!

This was on Nickelodeon.

This show airs on fox and adult swim and is rated T.V.-14 so this really isn't a Cartoon Network show for ya

The most heartless show I have ever watched

Very funny and lots of adult humor

Abysmal after Life of Brian

21 6Teen 6teen is a Canadian animated sitcom originally produced by Nelvana, with the final season produced by Fresh TV. It premiered on November 7, 2004 on Teletoon.

This was such a funny show for me! I LOVED Jude and I feel like it is unfair how everyone always judged this show before even watching it, so before you dis, watch!

This is the best cartoon ever. It relates to everyday things like lose your diary or

Did you guys know that the guy who makes the voice of Jude make the voice of Chric Mcclean the host on Total Drama Island

22 Generator Rex Generator Rex is an American science fantasy action animated television series created by Man of Action for Cartoon Network.

This is kind of the best.

23 Bakugan
24 Sym-Bionic Titan Sym-Bionic Titan is an American animated action science fiction television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky, Bryan Andrews, and Paul Rudish for Cartoon Network.

It would be nice if this show last longer than 20 episodes. Just look how long Teen Titans made their episodes.

25 Hamtaro Hamtaro, known in Japan as Trotting Hamutaro, is a Japanese children's manga and storybook series created and illustrated by Ritsuko Kawai.
