The Top Ten
1 Folie A Deux

Its honestly so sad that this album was received so poorly, despite being one of the best albums I've ever heard in terms of individual song quality. You've got fantastically catchy tracks like "The (Shipped) Good Standard," "27," and "I Don't Care." You've got "What a Catch, Donnie," the best "best friends" song of the decade, featuring cameos from the biggest names in the pop-punk genre and even music itself. You've got high-flying tunes like "(Coffee's For Closers)" and "Disloyal Order of Water Buffalos." You've got the sinister beast "West Coast Smoker" to close out the album. And how could I forget "20 Dollar Nosebleed," which featured vocals from the one and only Brendon Boyd Urie, a legend in his own right. You don't get better than Folie. You just don't.

2 From Under the Cork Tree

This is a legendary Fall Out Boy CD! The musical style and Patrick Stump's vocals are awesome and amazing! The same can be said to Fall Out Boy's other releases, especially "Take This to Your Grave" and "Infinity on High". "From Under the Cork Tree" happens to be their best selling one too, it got the band recognized in the mainstream.

The album spawned 3 singles, of which 2 ("Sugar, We're Going Down" and "Dance, Dance") were monster hits on the charts (#8 and #9 respectively in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, which is even more massive because rock songs aren't as popular) and radio. Given that, all the songs on the record (besides "Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued", that song doesn't cut it for me) are worthy singles, and all should get massive radio play; much underrated. "Of All The Gin Joints In All The World", "Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner", "7 Minutes In Heaven (Atavan Halen)", "Sophomore Slump Or Comeback Of The Year", "Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends", " I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy And All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me" and "XO" are Legendary (for lack of a better word)!

The songs on the limited "Black Clouds and Underdogs" edition should not be underrated either. Of note, bonus songs which did not make the cut to be on the album, "Snitches And Talkers Get Stitches And Walkers" and "The Music Or The Misery" are definitely two of the band's best songs yet.

To me, Fall Out Boy is the best band ever, nothing compares so "From Under the Cork Tree" might be the best album ever, with competition from the other Fall Out Boy albums. This album is a must buy for everyone, fans and casual listeners alike. An album where every song is a hit!

3 Infinity on High

This has one of the greatest fall out boy songs the take over the breaks over and the rest of the album is really good that's all I have to say really.

My love for this album is bigger than any other album by Fall Out Boy, hence why I voted for it, of course. While I must say the music on their sophomore album 'From Under The Cork Tree' was a little better, and the lyrics on 'Folie À Deux', the album after Infinity on High, hits you more than on any other album - Infinity on High is pretty much an excellent mixture of the two.

The music, in comparison on From Under The Cork Tree, has been cleaned. If that is good or bad will vary from person to person, but with Patrick's vocals I think that it fits better if the sound is clean. Speaking of his vocals; Patrick has gotten a lot better since their earlier album. His voice is really clean cut and he takes high notes a lot better than earlier. He can also hold a note in general better and longer, as witnessed in such songs as "The Take Over, The Breaks Over" and The (After) Life Of The Party. He can also take low notes, such as in Thnks fr th Mmrs, but they sound slightly more clean than they did in such songs as I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song), which is from From Under The Cork Tree.

Then we have the lyrics which is, like all the time, just as hard hitting (when you can hear what Patrick sings, that is). Unlike From Under The Cork Tree, which was a lot about fame and what comes with that, Infinity on High is a nice diversity. Thriller has touches from earlier, with lines such as "make us poster boys for your scene, but we are not making an acceptance speech", it's clear that Pete hasn't lost his old touch. While other elements of the album may reference to a lost love that he may not ever will feel again. He does bring up old subjects, such as his battle with his bipolar disorder and his suicide attempt, which may be referenced in Hum Hallelujah. Either way, he hasn't lost the touch in his lyrics.

All in all, this album is one of my favorite of all time, possibly at... more

4 Save Rock and Roll

This isn't a bad album. I don't understand why a lot of people don't like their post hiatus songs. This isn't my favorite album either, mine is Folie à Deux, but come on, this album is great. You've got badass angry songs such as The Phoenix and The Mighty Fall, emotional roller coasters such as Miss Missing You, Just One Yesterday and Save Rock and Roll, cute and happy songs such as Young Volcanoes and Alone Together, kickass songs such as Rat a Tat and My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark, and you've got the groovy bass in Where Did the Party Go. If haters of this album were really fans, they would still support Fall Out Boy through everything they release.

5 Take This to Your Grave

Come on people! This album is fantastic! Sure those other ones have"Dance, Dance", "Sugar, We're Going Down", and"Thnks Fr th Mmrs", but this one has their best songs! Like "Grand Theft Autumn/Where is Your Boy" and"The Pros and Cons of Breathing"! You people obviously haven't heard these songs, therefore you wouldn't vote for their best album ever (which actually stays true to the punk genre). In conclusion, I see a lot of ignorance around here...

don't waste your time as a real fall out boy fan I can say that this album sucks ok the music is fine, but Patrick is so whiny that he makes me just want to pull out my ears off do yourself a favor and skip this one.

6 American Beauty/American Psycho

Alright, let's make something clear: this was NOT a bad album. However, the reason why it's not my favourite is because it doesn't sound like Fall Out Boy. Joe is practically nonexistent (most songs drown him out with electro and sampled music), Andy's drumming could have been done electronically (they didn't give him a chance to be as creative as he was on their previous albums), and Pete wrote lyrics with Patrick Stump (that's nothing new, though). Patrick's singing style definitely changed post-hiatus, which I have mixed feelings about. Plus: you can actually understand 90% of the words he sings. Minus: His older singing voice was charming. I miss it.

7 Fall Out Boy's Evening Out with Your Girlfriend
8 PAX AM Days

It's not bad! It's simple, short, and sweet. All of it was recorded in a span of 48 hours. Andy's drumming was excellent (especially in Love, Sex, Death), Joe and Pete rocked it on their guitars, and Patrick's singing was amazing (as usual). I love how they went back to their old style. 8/10

9 Believers Never Die - Greatest Hits

Well obviously it has to be this... I mean it has all the big hits on one CD. Yes, there are some great songs missing but in general this is still the best CD, and the title is excellent.

The cover of Beat It is better than the original in my opinion! I'm not hating on Mj, I just like the rock version better.

10 Mania

A lot of people hate this album and I don't know why at all this is a pretty great album not there best but definitely better than take this to your grave witch isn't a hard feat to be honest.

This album was decent. There are a couple songs that weren't for me but most of them were good. Yes, it's not like Fall Out Boy's older stuff at all, but it shows how far they've come and how their sound changed. Besides, if they kept the same sound that From Under The Cork Tree had, all their songs would sound the same. So stop hating on their new stuff just because you can't accept that they've evolved.

The Contenders
11 My Heart Will Always Be B-Side to My Tongue

Only 5 songs and nothing new but I would argue theses are better versions of the songs. Listening to the entire "album" is such a good experience

Simply Beautiful, I never thought that I would ever say that about an album but this one really surprised me.

This album is amazing! I like the acoustic versions of the songs on here more than the originals.

12 **** Live In Phoenix
13 Project Rocket / Fall Out Boy
14 Leaked In London
15 Lake Effect Kid

It's only three songs long, but definitely makes my top 3 for Fall Out Boy!

16 So Much (For) Stardust
17 Make America Psycho Again

I agree, this album was bad. AB/AP was alright, but the remixes with the rap were just bad. This album didn't need to happen.

AB/AP was a mediocre album. And these remixes are absolute crap. Way to ruin the good tracks on the original album.

18 Citizens Fob Mixtape: Welcome to the New Administration

All around solid promotional material leading up to the release of Folie a Deux that was a nice preview for the upcoming records of Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, The Cab and the various other artists on the album.

Notable hits are: "Catch Me If You Can" and the original recording of "Lake Effect Kid".

I rate this album a solid CLINT SPARKS/10
