Top 10 Best Korean Drama OST Songs

The Top Ten
1 Jung Yong Hwa - Because I Miss You (Heartstrings)

Touching words and music composed and sung by a multi-talented and emotional singer. Jung Yong Hwa not only has a distinctive voice, but he also has great range, power, and sensitivity when he sings. CNBLUE members are not only successful as a contemporary pop-rock group but individually, they are also talented actors and models. Where many groups will come and go, CNBLUE will have longevity in the music and drama industry. Why? Because their members are humble, focused, and grounded. Although Yong Hwa will always be my favorite, they all shine!

Even now, I am listening to this song. Attracting people who don't even know the language is very difficult, but Yonghwa knows the technique to attract people. He is a really, really good singer. This is a very emotional song. Just listen once. Then you will comment without knowing it. I have a lot of Korean songs, but I listen to this song daily at least five times.

The song gives out so much emotion. In the movie, he sang it to his late father and also to Lee Gyu Won. I think that is a very beautiful combination of feelings. Also, Young Hwa has a brilliant voice that would make anyone (including boys) melt, especially hearing it live.

2 SNSD Taeyeon - Missing You Like Crazy (The King 2 Hearts)

Taeyeon's voice is both perfect and unique. She can hit high notes easily and is one of the best singers in Korea. Although Ailee is known as the queen of high notes, Taeyeon's high notes can also compete with Ailee's. She has something that a true singer has to have. She has the emotion to touch anyone's heart that is listening to her songs.

Even with Ailee, many people say that Ailee's voice might be powerful as she can hit high notes, but her voice lacks the emotion that a true singer is supposed to have. Many seniors praise Taeyeon for her perfect voice. She sings beautifully, emotionally, and perfectly. Taeyeon and her voice are both perfection.

Taeyeon's voice is seriously no joke. No wonder people vote her as the queen of OST. She knows how to control her voice and emotions. Not many people can sing like her. She is one of the best singers from SM.

Besides its meaningful lyrics, Taeyeon's voice brings you the sadness of longing for someone at the same time. Taeyeon, fighting! You're the queen of OST drama.

3 SNSD Taeyeon - And One (That Winter, The Wind Blows)

Taeyeon sings this song perfectly with her heart and emotions. The song flows like the wind, and it is so good in the blue film-like That Winter, The Wind Blows. I'm so into the song.

Yeah, I added this list in :) Because I always use this song to finish up my homework and concentrate on my studies. And miraculously, this beautiful piece of music always works for me. Regards, Jessy Sone. Byuntae, fighting!

Taeyeon's voice is always the best! It really matches the drama itself and it kind of reminds me of myself.

4 Sunny, Luna - It's Me (To The Beautiful You)
5 SNSD Taeyeon - I Love You (Athena: Goddess of War)

I can see Taeyeon's real heart when she sings this song. I also can see her will to always give the best in every song that she sings.

Her voice is so adorable and emotional! Taeyeon, fighting! Jessy Sone will always support you, too.

Taeyeon's voice is so emotional, it makes me fall in love with her. This song is the best.

6 SNSD Tiffany - Because It's You (Love Rain)

Close your eyes and listen to this song, and you'll feel the deep emotion in Tiffany's soft and adorable voice. This is the best OST in history, and Tiffany has the best voice in history ever.

You know, I really feel all relaxed and peaceful when listening to this song, and when Tiffany's emotional voice adds in, I really have no words to describe the feeling.

It gives me a twinge of sadness and a heartbroken feeling, but Tiffany's soft and warm voice echoes in this song, making it a total masterpiece!

7 Taeyeon - If (Hong Gil Dong)

Her voice is so beautiful and she portrays so much emotion all the time. It feels like she has a deep understanding of the lyrics and she can relate to them. She always does better than expected. My favorite OST singer!

Once again, Taeyeon's emotional voice echoes around this song... My favorite singer and OST

This song moves me even before I know where this song is from and who sings it

8 Kim Hyun Joong (SS501) - One More Time (Playful Kiss)

I love this song! The lyrics are so beautiful! Hyun Joong's voice is so amazing. There is something about his voice that makes it so... perfect. The best! He makes the best OSTs. This one, Because I'm Stupid, and If You're Like Me are absolutely the best.

It's the best movie soundtrack I've ever heard. How he brought his feelings he had in the movie into this song. Everything's perfect!

I like this drama. I like this drama's character. I like that the two characters love each other very much forever and they stay together forever.

9 Super Junior Yesung - It Has To Be You (Cinderella's Sister)

Yesung's voice is full of emotion, and you can feel the emotion that the drama is trying to portray even though you haven't seen it yet. It is a song that will capture everyone's heart. Yesung really sings it well, even in live performances. Thumbs up for him and for the composer, Park Junsu.

The best Korean drama OST has to be, who? Yep, it has to be you, Yesung. The title of this song is the answer. Your charming voice makes this song feel even more charming. Keep it up, Yesung oppa! Hwaiting! You are the king of OST!

His husky voice can make my heart melt. Really. His voice makes the lyrics and his emotion balance. Oh, God, am I already crazy because of his voice?

10 Hyun Bin - That Man (Secret Garden)

That song was amazing, and adding Hyun Bin's charm into it places it on the top list of all time. It really brought out the soft and warm voice of Hyun Bin while expressing all the emotions of the person singing it (Hyun Bin in this case). Hyun Bin's voice always expresses the whole feeling. Recently, when he was reading the poem for Korean Memorial Day, I couldn't understand anything since it's in Korean, but I started tearing up. This explains why this song is so expressive of emotions.

I loved him in The Fatal Encounter (2014) and Hyde, Jekyll, Me (2015). There is no word from his comeback project yet, but I hope we will all hear it soon!

This song is so amazing. I could listen to it over and over again. Hyun Bin's voice is perfect for this song, full of emotion. I know all of the words, and I don't even speak Korean! Every time I listen to it, it makes me happy, sad, calm... It's just so amazing! By far my favorite!

The Contenders
11 SHINee - Stand By Me (Boys Over Flowers)

SHINee's songs are the best. Their songs bring you cheerfulness and happiness that cannot be explained in words. They have the best ballad collection in K-pop. This song is just another gem in their crown. It is special because it introduced SHINee to many people around the world, leading them into SHINee World eventually. Sometimes I wonder if SHINee is a vocal group or a dance group. They are just too perfect.

Very catchy beat and sung by SHINee. What can you expect from them? The best! Stand By Me. It's so good they sing it at their concert every time, as well as during performances!

Anything sung by SHINee is awesome anyway, but I can't help but smile and feel happy whenever it plays in the drama. 10 points for SHINee!

12 Jang Geun Suk - Love Rain (Love Rain)

This is the sweetest song. It's so heartfelt, you can feel the story behind the song. And I appreciate that it was in the drama itself, written by the characters, and it felt like the viewer was a part of the song-writing process, lived the song, and lived the memories with them. This song will forever move me. Also, his voice is beautiful.

I love their voices when the three of them sang together during the stage performance (competition?) in episodes 4 or 5. Wow, that was wonderful.

And Jang Keun Suk is so well-developed in all performance aspects.

I don't know why, but I really like Sukkie's voice. So, if I hear this song, my heart always goes thump-thump, laugh out loud. This song really reflects what is happening in the scenes.
Go, go, fighting, Sukkie and Love Rain!

13 JYJ Kim Jae Joong - I'll Protect You (Protect The Boss)

This is a very funny and cute drama. It has some weak points. However, it will make you laugh like crazy. Kim Jaejoong, who stars as Cha Moo Won, is my favorite member of the Korean boy band JYJ, former member of DBSK, also known as Tohoshinki in Japan and TVXQ in China.

He wrote this song. So touching. Can't let it go until the end. Always keep the faith, oppa.

Always been my favorite, this song. I'll never forget. I fell in love with the song. His voice is soft and amazing. Oppa, fighting and wish you happiness.

14 Yesung - Gray Paper (That Winter, The Wind Blows Part 1)

Yesung's voice is deep and husky. It's very nice for ballad songs. He also always delivers every song with great emotion. I almost always cry when I listen to his songs, although I don't really understand the meaning of the lyrics.

Fell for the song the first time I listened to it. Never even watched the drama. It just has a unique soothing melody. Outstanding!

His beautiful deep husky voice can express the emotion of the song well. I always cry when I listen to this song.

15 Wax - Tears Are Falling (I Miss You)

This song... every episode of the drama relates to this song. It's really perfect for I Miss You/Missing You/Bogosipda. This drama is really addictive, sad, romantic, slightly violent, funny, and happy. This song is really heartbreaking and evaluates the feelings of every main character at different times, especially HJW.

I really like this song. I almost cry whenever I listen to this song. This reminds me of the tragic love story in I Miss You.

This song brings such a deep feeling to me. I could feel the pain, the sorrows. It really fits the drama.

16 IU - Someday (Dream High)

The songs are so good, all of them. I loved Maybe, Dream High, Winter Child, and of course Someday. Hope this can make it to the top ten, please.

I love this song! When I first heard it, it motivated me to keep on dreaming!

I love IU. She is so beautiful! IU the best!

17 Kim Bum Soo - I Miss You (Stairway To Heaven)

This song is a MASTERPIECE. It's a heart-tearing-inducing song. It portrays true love caught in longing and sadness. It's been years since the song was released, but my heart still stops beating for a moment whenever I hear Kim Bum Soo's voice. It's as if it flies me away up to the bed of clouds in the sky. Love it so much!

This song is so sad. I fell in love when I first heard it sung by MBLAQ's G.O on Hello Baby. I'm so glad I found it!

This is a very beautiful song. It's very touching for everybody to hear.

18 JYJ Junsu - Love is Like a Snowflake (Nice Guy)

It sounds sad, which suits the storyline of the movie, and I always sing along to it.

I really like this song because of the drama. It's so meaningful!

The best voice of all... He's the best for OST.

19 Kim Hyun Joong - When Today Passes (Inspiring Generation)
20 Baek Ji Young - After a Long Time (Rooftop Prince)

Rooftop Prince was the first Kdrama that made me cry because of this song. Especially that scene in the rooftop wedding! I have memorized this song by heart and still get so emotional whenever I listen to it.

It's very unique. Her voice sounds a bit traditional and very strong. We can feel the passion.
I just love it, and the lyrics perfectly portray what the character feels.
Just awesome... daebak!

Baek Ji Young, the queen of OST! She sure has a unique voice that's different from the rest, truly commendable.

21 Gummy - Snowflake (That Winter, The Wind Blows Part 3)

It relaxes my mind and helps me forget my problems, even though I don't understand the meaning. But I like the sound!

22 J-Min - Stand Up (To The Beautiful You)

Oh my God. Yes. This song is so amazing. It's one of those songs that you'll always remember when watching a K-drama. J-min has an amazing, strong voice. Love it.

I really like this song. Oppa very good.

My favourite... Just my cup of coffee.

23 LYN - Back In Time (The Moon That Embraces the Sun)

This song is truly amazing and touching! Every time I listen to it, I tear up because it reminds me of scenes in the drama. Not to mention, the drama itself is just as perfect as this song! The lyrics of this song are really meaningful too.

This song always gives me creeps. Because the lyrics are so saddening.

24 Kim Hyun Joong - Thing Called Happiness (Boys Over Flowers)
25 Jonghyun - So Goodbye (City Hunter)

I just like the drama and the song. It's catchy. The first time I watched, I listened to the song and said, "Wow," Jonghyun has a really good voice. And for the drama, I just love it. It's my best drama ever.

Immediately after finishing City Hunter, I had to look up that amazing song I kept hearing throughout the drama! So glad I found it, and I hope it brings you guys happiness as well. Great song!

The drama and the OST matched really well. Jonghyun had lots of emotion while singing this. Also, Jonghyun's voice is really good, definitely one of the best vocalists in the K-pop industry. Go Jonghyun and City Hunter... Best drama ever!
