When I was 5 or 6, I have seen their old cartoon logo somewhere. In the last years I started to follow the mlb, and when I saw the orioles getting back to the cartoon bird, I was really happy. Although I'm a braves fan, I have to admit, that the o's have the greatest logo in the whole sport-world.

The Mets logo is a tribute to the old New York Giants logo. Check the similarities. The reason it's a nod to the old New York Giants is because the owners who formed and started the Mets did so for the purpose of bringing Willie Mays back to the city of New York where he was so beloved. They finally succeeded in bringing him back, and he got to play in the 1973 World Series for his New York fans again. Very cool, Mets, thank you.

Not like the Yankees so much, but just like the old New York Giants NY. Compare the Mets NY to the MLB NY Giants logo. They're intentionally the same Because Joan Payson, a majority owner of the Mets at their formation wanted to appeal to the New York fans who used to root for the New York Giants.

And, just fyi, the New York Giants and their logo existed way before the Yankees.

I love the Minnesota Twins but the Royals have one of the coolest logos. There really aren't that many awesome logos in the MLB, but the Royals have one of them. Go Twins!
