The Contenders: Page 11XW

201Ben Hur

Like a classical piece of music so much drama and passion.

202Man of Steel (Hans Zimmer)

Arcade&Flight soundtracks are really epic like other hans zimmer works. And "This is clark kent" is an emotional great one.

It's a great, new soundtrack. Epic in my opinion and I think may make it to the top ten.

203The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (David Shire)
204Dirty Harry (Lalo Schifrin)
205Scarface (Giorgio Moroder)

Push it to the limit, she's on fire, and Tony's theme are just a few of the amazing songs that completes the 80's Miami vibe in one of the best movies known to man!

206The Deer Hunter (Stanley Myers)
207Barry Lyndon
208Vanilla Sky
209Remember the Titans
210Pacific Rim (Ramin Djawadi)
211Cinema Paradiso (Ennio Morricone)

Moving soundtrack with many beautiful melodies and motifs brought back many times throughout the film in order to underline themes. Absolutely fantastic

212Rush (Hans Zimmer)

Definitely, this one has real enthralling tracks than many above

213The Avengers (Alan Silvestri)

Gives you the feel of just how epic this movie really is.

214The Lost Boys (Thomas Newman)
215Cinderella (Patrick Doyle)

Feels old fashioned in a good way. Which makes sense given this adaptation of Cinderella is radically non revisionist.

La Valse D'lamor can reduce grown man into tears, Courage & Kindness fells very romantic and festive.

The polkas and valses in this score are worthy of a dance school!

La Valse D'lamor is such a magical waltz. No suprise, Cate Blanchett herself has admitted that when Richard Madden and Lily James did that big dance, she wept like a child.

The entire score is actually magical and uplifting

It makes you want to waltz.

216Mad Max: Fury Road (Junkie XL)

The intensity of Band of Brothers is off the charts!

The intensity of Brothers in Arms is ridiculous!

217Wreck-it Ralph - Henry Jackman
218Inside Out

If you've seen the movie you will know what I'm talking about. This is one of the greatest soundtracks ever and deserves to be in the top ten at least. Bundle of Joy is a emotionally mesmerising piece that will make you remember all the best parts of the movie. If you haven't seen it you experience something even more magical when you see images that make you feel as good as the movie made me feel. The ending to the joy of credits is probably the best string section instrumental piece to ever be produced by Michael Giacchino. Absolutely astounding

219Tenacious D: The Pick Of Destiny (Jack Black)
220The Incredibles (Michael Giacchino)

This Soundtrack is unbelievable. It manages to sound like the 60's, and modern at the same time. It perfectly helps make The Incredibles it's own thing.
