1 John Lennon John Winston Ono Lennon, MBE (9 October 1940 - 8 December 1980) was an English singer and songwriter who rose to worldwide fame as a co-founder of the Beatles, the most commercially successful band in the history of popular music. Lennon was characterised by the rebellious nature and acerbic wit in his music, writing and drawings, on film, and in interviews. His songwriting partnership with Paul McCartney remains the most successful in history.

The two best songs of The Beatles: "A day in the life", "Strawberry Fields forever", and masterpieces like "Lucy in the sky with diamonds", "Tomorrow never knows", "ear Prudence", his leadership, and his great post Beatle career makes him the most important Beatle to me.

when he died, the world suffered
he is maybe the best songwriter (with Paul), nobody has a talent like the one he has
he made a great job in The Beatles, and he also made some great songs in his solo work

Across the universe. Strawberry fields. Sexy Sadie. Nowhere man. All you need is Love. John Lennon is incomparable in brilliance heart and soul. Best human being and musician

John is the Star. His assassin, Mark David Chapman, was arrested for killing John. John has the best songs of all the Beatles.

some idiots said that he died 1996, how could other guy have the talent he has; albums like Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, White Album and Let It Be had great songs that only Paul could did
every song he sang in The Beatles was great! He is a legend!

The counter weight to Lennon's psychotic ego. A very good bass player that defined rock bass playing for many of today's musician. Not to mention his full bodied voice even at high pitch.

He had the most adorable eyes and smile. Plus, his voice and ability to play many instruments made me favour him over the rest of the fab four.

Wrote most of the best songs. Still writes good songs today and is by far the best Beatle. John Lennon was good but his songs were too similar.

3 George Harrison George Harrison (1943 - 2001) was an English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and music and film producer who achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles.

Is the best Beatle John Lennon was a jerk, Paul is awesome but is no George, and Ringo is awesome but I think no offense he was along for the ride. But George Harrison had My Sweet Lord, Here Comes the Sun, What is Life, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something, Isn't a Pity, and many more awesome songs with The Beatles and without them.

Honestly can't pick the best Beatle at the time of the band, but George Harrison I think had the best solo career.

next to Paul and John, he was who sang most
he was the second Beatles who died first

The best two Beatles had to die George and John are the best two hands down

4 Ringo Starr Richard Starkey known professionally as Ringo Starr, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor who gained worldwide fame as the drummer for the Beatles.

he is one of the best drummers in rock history and he sang in many great songs like "Yellow Submarine", "With a Little Help of My Friends" and "Act Naturally"

7 Brian Epstein

Paul stated in an interview of BBC in 1997: "If anyone was the fifth Beatle, it was Brian Epstein"

8 George Martin Sir George Henry Martin was an English record producer, arranger, composer, conductor, audio engineer, and musician
