Just listen to "Through the fire and the flames" its about one of the hardest songs to play.

Through the fire and the flames was bad ass but that's all they have so that's how they where placed

They are fast and good melodies. You can also hear what they sing. Not bad at all.

Hit after hit! Unique, totally original sound, great lyrics, good musicians especially Matt Chamberlain on drums. This band was iconic during the 90s and still make great music. Every album except maybe 1 has been awesome. This band is number 1

Perhaps, listening to the Album Siamese dream will be the best way to rank this band. In the the mid 90's this band did rock. Even now the sound is pretty unique.

One of the most influential rock bands out there.

109 Interpol

Sytlised darkly edged stripped down indie rock, whats not to like. Also without doubt in their original line up, the most visually striking band of the 00's. Vastly underrated except by those that know they're one of the greatest bands in the world...

Natural.. They are just pure. You can identify every guitar type when listening to their music

Seriously, 98th place? Way better than all those lame gorge bands like blink 182, offspring, etc

Even though their best work was in the 90s, From Chaos and Evolver are so much better that all these bands' song put together combined. - Lemonjelo

Their 2014 cd titled "stereolithic", is their 6th straight album hit top 10 on the billboard rock album chart.

115 Escape the Fate

Older stuff is definitely better when Ronnie was still in the band. Their current stuff is still awesome, just not as awesome. I am surprised that they are not higher than this...

With the last album they really are one of the best bands of the 2000's.
They are good, innovative, they are... Awesome.

Should be higher than 102... They are just sooo good, but they are more metal than "rock"
