He rose to prominence in the early 1970s as the lead vocalist of the band Black Sabbath. Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath more.

The Prince of Darkness should be in the top ten. He's got a great voice and his music is so killer! Even after leaving Black Sabbath, he's still as great as he always was. I LOVE Ozzy! And he's not called the Prince of Darkness or the Godfather of Heavy Metal for nothing.

232Alice CooperAlice Cooper is an American singer, songwriter, musician and occasional actor whose career spans over five decades.

He's the King of Shock Rock and for a good reason. And being a showman, he has very interesting concerts. He should be top ten. Maybe even top five. He's a badass! I saw one of his concerts once and I was practically blown away by how great it was! So glad I didn't miss it!

233Steven TylerSteven Tyler is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and former television music competition judge, best known as the lead singer of the Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, in which he also plays the harmonica, and occasional piano and percussion.

He's the Demon of screamin' and I love him! He sings very well and Aerosmith is one of the best bands ever! So many great hits/albums. He should be in the top ten, indeed!

By far one of the greatest songwriters ever!

234Marilyn MansonBrian Hugh Warner, better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, author, and former music journalist.

I just love this guy. He is very nice and very intelligent. And even though his music seems bad to some, it all has meaning to it. I have a lot of respect for him. I saw him in concert with a friend one time and it was awesome. He needs to be higher.

235Stevie Ray VaughanStephen "Stevie" Ray Vaughan (October 3, 1954 – August 27, 1990) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. As frontman and primary songwriter for Counting Crows, Duritz has created some of the most lyrical songs in modern pop music. His wordsmithing is utterly fascinating and he story telling is beyond campare. He is an underrated and under appreciated gem.
