Top 10 Best Spider-man Video Games of All Time

There are numerous electronic games featuring the popular Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man that have been released. To date, Spider-Man has made appearances on over 15 gaming platforms, which also includes mobile games on mobile phones. But what is the best?
The Top Ten
1 Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

I love this game! After Andrew Garfield's movie was released, I bet when they made the game, they pushed this game back to do something for a change, like being a side game and not being the most awesome and made Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions the side game. But let's talk about the game. You can play four different Spider-suits throughout different dimensions, and they don't look like how they should be, making people have different appearances of the villain. I wish they gave us Iron Spider. And I'll tell you, the hardest dimension is Noir. And if the villains were 15,000 times better than the ones they used, Noir Spider-Man would pee his little pants. Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate are the versions. LOVE THIS GAME ALONG WITH THE #1!

2 Amazing Spider-Man

This Game is not the Best Spider-Man game. I think it's just a moderate Spider-Man game that is modern. I think Edge of time and Shattered Dimensions are better.
This game as a modern Spiderman game doesn't give you the quality you want from a modern spidey game. But it's not a bad game.

A game based on the movie of same name that will be out in 2012. The game is being developed by Beenox and Activision, the same developers of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time.

It is awesome, it has a great storyline great gamplay, the best one I've played and when they make the amazing spiderman 2 game it will be just as good.

3 Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

This game has a great combat system, and you can really see how much the upgrades influence combat. The story was interesting, at least to me, but I'm a sucker for any game with the symbiotes in it, plus, we got great web slinging, even if the webs did occasionally attach themselves to the sky. The morality system does make sense, given a symbiote's influence over it's host, and I didn't find any area of the game particularly lacking.

Plus, this game had the best spiderman jokes.

This game may have a few glitches, but the quality of gameplay is what I believe to matter most in open-world games like this one. The moves are quite easy to learn and remain interesting even after hours of playing due to the smoothness of the "Spider-Man Agility" and the sadly undermined suit changing during combos to create new move sequences.

I won't tell anything about the web-swinging because it would be an entire post on its own. I could literally web-swing all day and not be tired of it.

I have not played the top two games here so I will not argue about ranking, but this game deserves to be in the top 3. The fights are never boring due to variation of enemy abilities and locations. (Yes, I have seen games with thugs on rooftops but the walls? Aerial fights are also great.)

The hero backup is very good, their A.I. is certainly tuned to help you and not get in your way. The last point is about the (zombie?) symbiotes - the weaklings there to practice any move/combination you can think of.

The story is quite good as an original but the twist is that the gamer seizes control of the story with moral decisions that affect the ending. There are a lot of other ideas this game could have explored but very few Spider-Man games have come close to what this game has accomplished.

4 Ultimate Spider-Man

This is the best spider-man video game I've ever played! The graphics are really fantastic and they stay true to Brian Michael Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man comic. The web slinging on this game is the most realistic and most fun web swinging on a spiderman game since 2004's Spider-Man 2 game. The boss might be hard, but the combat is still fun and exciting. The story is so awesome and comic bookey. Spider-Man looks so awesome and he's so hilarious and amazing to play as. What makes this game even better is that I can play Venom and he is just so awesome to play as! I had so much fun playing this game!

5 Spider-Man 2

As the live-action Spider-Man movie was released in 2002, a game developed by Treyarch titled, Spider-Man: The Movie was developed for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube with a separate title developed by Digital Eclipse Software for Game Boy Advance. The game play was similar to that of Neversoft's previous Spider-Man game, except it featured for the first time aerial combat, and to an extent allowed the user to 'web sling' over New York openly, although not being able to land on the ground below. The game sported the voice of the actors from the film, including Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, cult icon Bruce Campbell, and including Josh Keaton as Harry Osborn and in a bonus story-mode where he wears Harry's Green Goblin gear

6 Marvel's Spider-Man

I might have played the different version of it but it is the best spider man game on playstation, I don't usually watch kid movies while too old. guess what guys? he's added to fortnite and the battle pass is required to unlock.

Okay, this is an AMAZING Spider-Man game. It takes the formula that Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham series had, and imported it into Spider-Man. I love the Arkham games, and I love Spider-Man. That's why this is the best Spidey game ever, or even best superhero game ever. It is for me, tied with Batman: Arkham City.

7 Spider-Man (2000)

The official game based on the movie, you cannot free roam and the controls are pretty much like Spider-Man (2000), but all together the game is very enjoyable and there are many surprises around almost every corner, especially when your at Oscorp. You can even play as the green goblin.

Hello, this is an old version of spiderman. But this game is
Totally awesome. As in you fight a lot of bosses etc. And in this game you put cheats which can give you skins of spiderman 2099 etc.

This one is clearly a top three. This should be renamed to "most popular games", because, Amazing Spider-Man in first? Really?

8 Spider-Man: The Movie

My personal favorite Spider-Man game that I grew up with and still own to this day. It brings back many good memories and has very fun and challenging gameplay. I'm still trying to complete the game on the hardest difficulty without cheating. Since my original Xbox no longer seems to work, I play this game (along with Spider-Man 2) on my Xbox 360, it's a compadible game

My all time favorite Spider-Man game, has challenging and very fun gameplay. Still have and play this game on a 360

I've played this game it's a good pass time.

9 Spider-Man 3

The Spider-Man 3 game was released at the same time as the film. The game is on all formats, with the PlayStation 3 receiving a Collector's Edition featuring an exclusive playable character - Harry Osborn's "New Goblin" persona. The black suit was handled differently by the different development teams that worked on the game, with some opting to keep the player in the costume until a certain point in the game whilst other versions of the game utilised the suit in a more strategic fashion, allowing the player to don or remove the costume while suffering side effects appropriate to how much the suit is worn. In October 2007, the New Goblin was released onto the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, making the PC version of Spider-Man 3, besides the PS2 and Wii, the only version developed by Treyarch not to have the New Goblin as a playable character (Excluding fight against Sandman).
In 2007, two Spider-Man 3 games were released for mobile devices, developed by Javaground USA and produced by Sony Online Entertainment. Spider Man 3 Action was released early in the year, followed by Spider-Man 3 Puzzle a few months later.

10 Spider-Man: The Edge of Time

Spider-Man: Edge of Time is an adventure game that was developed by Beenox and Activision, the same companies that developed Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. The main characters for this game are: the Amazing Spider-Man, voiced by Josh Keaton, and the Spider-Man 2099, voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes. Storyline: Two Spider-Men help each other to save their worlds. Spider-Man 2099 and The Amazing Spider-Man are the only playable characters in the game.

Love this game! It should be in 4th but 6th is not bad I guess...

The Contenders
11 Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage

The first game include venom and spiderman vs carnage that's badass

12 Spider-Man: Friend or Foe

In this game you can play even as the villains.

Ridiculously over the top combat, but great playable villains

13 Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro

How the hell is this #33? It's awesome!

14 Spider-Man: Miles Morales
15 Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety
16 The Amazing Spider-Man 2

This game should at the number 1 position. It is a good game with a library of different suits. It is better than any spiderman game ever.

For what it's worth this game wasn't all that bad. Not the best but certainly top 10.

I have played and completed this game it is really amazing like its name...ultimate graphics
