Top 10 Best Star Wars Video Games
Everything you could ask for in a Star Wars video game: epic ground battles, thrilling space dogfights, both of which spans across the prequels and original trilogy, playable classic characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, many planets and maps from the movies, plus, a campaign mode that spans prequels and original trilogy. The best Star Wars video game ever made
Great Game, brought the scale of the Star Wars universe to your console. Play as Yoda, Darth Vader, Boba Fett any many more of the classic Star Wars heroes and villains. Pilot x wings in space battles or play as a clone on geonosis. This game had it all.
An amazing game with memorable characters and a great story that is pure Star Wars. The ending was so strong that I clapped. This game set the standard for RPG storytelling until Bethesda came along with their later Fallout and Elder Scrolls games.
This game doesn't have as much recognition as it deserves. If this was on PS2 back at release, it'd easily be #1 on this list. The memorable characters, the phenomenal story, the exploration, the dialogue choices having weight to the story. This game was my reason to even own an Xbox. Not Halo. This masterpiece.
Best Game LEGO has ever made period. Lego Marvel Superheroes doesn't even come close to an amazing game.
I have been playing video games since NES, this game is just so awesome! I have it for WII. Great game.
Hilarious! this was the first lego game to do star wars right, though it will definitely be dethroned by skywalker saga.
This might be one of the best games ever in play about Star Wars. It changes perspective, and lately even puts appeal on the Sith of the franchise. The best equipment and force abilities. Darth Vader kills Obi Wan Kenobi remember, and Kylo Ren kills Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. These are major defeats to the Light Side of the Force and question loyalty where some is previous all there. Also Mace Windu dies to Anakin Skywalker inclusive with the master Jedi Yoda got death too. A lot seems to be on the Sith side when enumerating these.
In my opinion this is the best star wars game of all time.
The writing is amazing.
The characters are just as interesting like in the 1st.
The gameplay has improved.
Being a jedi or a sith is even better, you really feel like you are either helping the galaxy more or making it a darker place.
The planets are amazing.
The weapons, upgrading system and even crafting system are amazing.
Replayability is amazing.
Mod support is amazing.
Only downside is G0-T0.
Amazing game.
Why does everyone like this game so much? Sure, the controls are better than KOTOR 1, but the story, characters, and overall feel just didn't work for me. Good game, but overrated.
This one should definitely be one of the top tens. It had good gameplay and classes for a starter.
Jedi Academy should definitely be on the top ten as well, not force unleashed.
A great game, fun game! I had the second one and I wanted to try the first and I was not disappointed. Campaign isn't as fun as in battlefront two but the maps are awesome!
This game and Battlefront 2 are both very good games. If you're looking for canonical accuracy, play Battlefront 1. If you want smooth, customizable gameplay, play Battlefront 2.
This game was really memorable when it first launched, for multiple reasons, and now that it's on Nintendo Switch, it's even better!
Had the best lightsaber combat out of any star wars game. Very enjoyable, although it lacks some of the depth that games like KOTOR have.
Get it on PC for the mod Knights Of The Force!
Great game. Lengthy stories, that don't negate the other classes. 8 classes, 16 subclasses, 32 skill trees, 2 possible endings for each class. That's 64 ways to play the game. How can a Star Wars fan not like it? Especially since it's been free to play.
I always end up wanting to like this game more, because it just delivers on so many levels. The storylines are amazing, the gameplay is cool too, and it has some of the best characters.
Awesome game. SWTOR is so great because of the dialogue choices, companions, stories, and that you get to choose your own path. This game is the best star wars game ever.
This game is like the clone trooper version of Spec-Ops. Good gameplay due to the diversity of missions, locations, CIS troops, and creepy atmosphere in certain parts. This and revenge of the with should definitely replace Lego and force unleashed big time.
I love this game with a passion. The year is currently 2015, and the graphics, gameplay and storyline still hold up remarkably well. I enjoy it each and every time I play through it.
How is star wars the force unleashed even on the list? This game is far better and should be in the top 5.
This game is fun despite all the controversy, when it comes to pure gaming Star Wars fun, it excels and that's what games are for.
I love this game! I don't know how much time I've spent playing it, but I've enjoyed it through and through!
This game is underrated, with a great campaign and even better multiplayer modes. WAY better than battlefront 2015
How is this #10 and the original is only #18? This game was relatively short, was rather easy, and it's storyline is just plain terrible.R.I.P. Force Unleashed. You will be missed.
Don't car if it's short. This guy is so cool
I feel like this should be higher on the list. This game gave you all the force powers and lightsaber capabilities you could want when it came out, and it's aged well. Also, Kyle Katarn's revenge mission is one of the cooler stories to come out of the EU.
Just got it yesterday for my old Xbox and it is really good.
Just as good as the film...and as exciting!
Amazing game! Better than the movie
Sorry if you like the game, but there are so many things wrong with it. First, no campaign. Why? I'm okay if a game is more multiplayer focused, if it doesn't cost too much or, you know, actually had enough single-player. The multiplayer isn't even that good. Most of the game modes (other than Heroes vs Villains and Walker Assault) suck. Its Battlefield with a Star Wars skin. Also, there is no online split-screen. It's a basic requirement for multiplayer and EA still got it wrong. And of course, since EA is EA, $80 expansions on the game, which is the same price as the game. How about actually putting more content in the game. Not even the lightsaber fights between Luke and Vader are good. It's just mash one button until someone dies. There is no flow to it, despite other Star Wars games (Jedi Knight comes to mind) already perfected this, so there is no excuse. Is this game bad? No, the two modes I mentioned are kinda fun, I didn't come across any glitches, so its playable, and the visuals and sound design (other than Vader's voice) is fantastic. The immersion was great... until about an hour in. This game isn't bad, but mediocre at best, and is the most dissapointing game I've ever played.
Dexter's Diner was a way better hub than Mos Eisley Cantina.
for once there is an EA game without microtransactions and, it was done perfectly the only negative thing about it is that every now and then the textures don't load properly but the combat actually feels like a star wars game. The plot is incredible despite cal being both ginger and a very typical game character. The lightsaber duels are fantastic and the ending I'm sure every fanboy was squealing. I am not going to spoil it for people who have not played the but you should faintly play it.
The most recent game keeps the star wars feel through its great storyline while borrowing gameplay from other franchises.
I really love this game. It reminds me a lot of Total War which is my favorite game series. If you got this game off Steam I really recommend you try out the mods, because they are a lot more fun.
This game is a gem. Smooth gameplay, great balancing, many hours of gameplay, and was really addicting. Very great RTS and way better than Battlefront II.
This game should be number two on the list.
Star Wars bounty hunter should be in the top ten. I have this game and it is AWESOME! A great, original storyline that explains how Jango fett became the clone template. While some levels (cough, tatooine, cough) are difficult, it is great fun overall.
My dad and I spent hours on this. I miss Star wars the clone ware game to. Seeing those bulges of firefights
I love how I played It in the past so that is why I am voting for you
This is the best one, primarily due to the awesome boss fights with the best villains: Maw, Boc, Gorc, Pic, Jerec, Sariss, and Yun.
One of the best SNES games. Outstanding soundtrack until today!
