Best Wide Receivers of 2012-2013

The Top Ten
1 Calvin Johnson Calvin Johnson Jr. is a retired American football wide receiver who played his entire career for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He is often called the nickname ''Megatron'' for his rare combination of size, speed, and leaping ability on the field.

Megatron is like the 7th best wr put three guys on him and I wouldn't be surprised if he made the catches this guy should of got a better team he was so good and his team was so bad they only made the playoffs about one time too much talent to waste

Cj 81 its not even close he the best wr in the game right now! The real arguement is who's #2 cj 81 achieved 1951 yds broke jerry rice single recieving yds record not only that extremely clutch I remember a good 4 games were he won the game with a last minute catch you hot to be real special when 2 guys are jamming you at the end zone

As for #2 its between aj green and julio jones both young talented playmakers

He Has Great Hands Fast Has Hops To Get Up With Defenders, And Also Is Physical. He Is Everything You Want In A WR. I Always Said He Be The Best WR Just Needed A Good QB And He Got Matthew Stafford Is A Good Also Reminds Me Of A A Young Randy Moss.

Calvin Johnson got over 1900 yards. No one else got even close this year. He is extremely fast and can jump very high. He is the best NFL receiver that there is right now.

2 Brandon Marshall Brandon Tyrone Marshall is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He has played for six different teams in his NFL career. Marshall was drafted in the fourth round, 119th overall to the Denver Broncos in 2006.

He had more receptions, receiving yards, and same amount of TD's as Green. He also caught over 40% of the Bears' passes. The last time a receiver has accomplished that was in 1960.

Come on Calvin Johnson in 1st this year the only teams Lions have beaten are teams with worse records then them

How could you rank brandon marshall below aj green when marshall beats him in every statistical catagory.

Brandon marshall #1 always has a chance to win wit b marshall on the feald...

3 Larry Fitzgerald Larry Darnell Fitzgerald Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Fitzgerald was drafted 3rd overall to the Arizona Cardinals in 2004, he is considered to be one of the best players of his position to never win a Super Bowl.

Larry Fitzgerald deserves to be in the top 5! I'd love to see everyone else on this list do as well as he did with the quarterbacks he had! If only Arizona had a half decent quarterback, Larry would be at the top of this list and he'd be breaking records just like Johnson!

Larry Fitzgerald is the best! Sure he might have had a bad year but its hard having to switch quarterbacks all the time... Anyway larry is the best, he can catch, run, jump and do circus catches

4 Andre Johnson Andre Lamont Johnson is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Miami, and was drafted by the Houston Texans third overall in the 2003 NFL Draft.

Had a career year at 31 after coming off of an injury. How many other receivers get better as they age.

Andre Johnson is the best

5 AJ Green

I think that A.J. is right up there with Megatron he could even be above him he is my favorite player and I also like Julio Jones but A.J. is the best. I am from Michigan and everyone loves Megatron.

AJ is always covered but that's no problem. He is a great wide reicever. He is very fast and has great hands. He is good for long passes.

After he catches it he fights for yards with his quick feet

6 Dez Bryant Desmond Demond "Dez" Bryant Sr. is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

First it's the pro bowl now it's every list about wide receivers. Dez Bryant has become one of the most explosive targets in the NFL. He started the season poorly but ended the season 3rd in TD catches (behind two guys who aren't on the list) and top 5 in almost every other receiving stat. He has less dropped passes than Cruz, Marshall, and Megatron. He's 6th in yards, 6th in yards per game, 4th in catches 25+ yards, and he has the 3rd longest reception this season. He may not be the best yet but he's better than most people on this list and deserves some consideration.

Dez makes defenders look silly! He's big, strong and fast! He's and absolute BEAST!

Dez bryant is the best of them all

Bryant should be #2

7 Wes Welker

The best white receiver, no competition at all

8 Steve Smith Steve Smith, Sr. is an American football wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.

I think he will be the best because he has cam newton and also steve smith is good too

Usually he'd just be an old fart but Cam Newton brought him back

9 Julio Jones Quintorris Lopez "Julio" Jones is a current wide receiver who plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Jones was selected sixth overall in 2011 to the Atlanta Falcons, and since made it to one Super Bowl.

Wow, Julio Jones had a monster day agains't my seahawks... We were the 1st ranked defense and he caught over 100 yards and even had a pick! Hands down best if he can do that to my hawks! - CHASE-WASHINGTON STATE...

Julio Jones What a sick wide receiver!

10 Victor Cruz Victor Michael Cruz is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League.

Victor Cruz is the best in the would he can catch anything

Best receiver in the world

The Contenders
11 Michael Crabtree Michael Alex Crabtree, Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.

Crabtree may not look great statistically, but that's because the Niners throw the ball the second fewest. Despite that, Crabtree ecplisped 1,000 yards and 80 rececptions. Crabtree has one of the best hands in the NFL and amazing at running after the catch. He doesn't have top end speed, but he runs smooth routes and jukes out defenders in his way.

12 Anquan Boldin
13 Greg Jennings
14 Roddy White

Roddy is better than Julio Jones. He can catch the ball better, is much stronger and probably faster

Best because he's too strong and fast. Strongest receiver in NFL by far.

15 Randy Moss Randy Gene Moss is a former American football wide receiver who played 14 seasons in the National Football League.
16 Hakeem Nicks

Victor Cruz may get the stardom but this guy's the real backbone of the Giants receiving corps

17 Vincent Jackson Vincent Terrell Jackson (January 14, 1983 - February 15, 2021) was an American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League. He played for the San Diego Chargers from 2005 to 2011 and for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012 to 2016.
18 Reggie Wayne Reginald Wayne is a former American football wide receiver who spent his entire 14-year career with the Indianapolis Colts.

Best route runner, great hands, durability, bad quarterback and still had almost a 1000 yards don't sleep on him now he got Andrew luck

19 Cecil Shorts
20 Torrey Smith James Torrey Smith is an American football wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.
21 Seyi Ajirotutu
22 Alshon Jeffery Alshon Jeffery is an American football wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. Jeffrey was drafted 2nd round forty fifth overall to the Chicago Bears.
