5 Varg Vikernes (Burzum) Louis Cachet, (born Kristian Vikernes) more popularly known as Varg Vikernes, is a Norwegian musician, writer, and a convicted murderer and arsonist. He is known as the frontman of the one-man band Burzum (named after a word in the Black Speech, which is a fictional language in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings), which is considered one of the most influential bands in black metal history. He's also known for murdering Mayhem guitarist Euronymous and was sentenced to 21 years in prison in 1994.

The whole mystical, dark and sinister concept of black metal is perfectly summarized by Vargs extreme shrieks that can only be described as inhuman and bestial. The most impressive voice in Black Metal according to me alongside Dead, Abbath, Themgoroth and Nocturno Culto

6 Gaahl (Gorgoroth) Kristian Eivind Espedal, better known by his stage name Gaahl, is a Norwegian vocalist and artist. He is best known as the former frontman of Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth. He is also the founder and frontman of Trelldom and Gaahlskagg.

His voice was frightening, just listen to him singing freezing moon on YouTube and y'all know what I mean.

15 Glen Benton (Deicide) Glen Benton is an American death metal musician. He is best known as the vocalist and bassist for the death metal band Deicide and was also a part of the band Vital Remains, where he has performed in recording sessions as well as live with them on a few occasions.

A controversial musician, Benton is known for his theistic satanist views and actions. He was originally going to commit suicide at age 33 in order to achieve a life opposite that of Jesus Christ, but he passed the age in 2000 and did not kill himself.
