Greatest Boxers of All Time

41David Tua

A machine in the ring, and he just recently won one of his fights this year! His record says it all! 53 - 2, how good is that! He is a very rare boxer, there are not many good islander boxers but this guy is unbelievable!

He is better than Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali! David Tua is the most amazing and underrated boxer in history, he has only lost three fights and is the greatest heavyweight at the moment!

The greatest athlete in Samoan history! He deserves a spot in the top ten, he has knocked out most of his opponents

How did he even get mentioned seriously

42Joe Calzaghe

The most naturally skilled fighter I have ever seen.

Outclassed all 46 opponents with movement, use of distance and relentless combinations. (Hopkins almost held on for a draw and Robin Reid had a go but both lost).

His fitness was demoralising. Getting up 15 seconds early to start each round sends a message.

He quickly recovered from knockdowns, took the count and then immediately came out fighting to re-assert his dominance.

He was clever and able to change his strategy instinctively. His fights were always exciting as he took risks until the final bell.

In a different era he could have been in the top 10. Definitely my favourite boxer to watch.

Should be number 1 unbeaten for so long, nobody could match him. He is the greatest pound for pound boxer of all time. How are there so many boxers above him on this list when they have been repeatedly beaten. Surely it should be over the full career and not just a couple of year spell. Mike tyson at 18 I can understand but over his full career, really?

46-0 21 title defenses longest raining title holder (bout 11 years) in recent years super fast punches better than any 1 else

Best fighter

43Juan Manuel Marquez

Extremely underrated, could dance with the best and still win, also never ko'd never ducked a fight and when he thought of retiring he went and fought manny one last time and won

December 8th 2012. See what he did to Manny Pacquiao. No one has ever done what Marquez did. Also, to this date (December 2012), NOBODY HAS EVER knocked him out; all his losses (except the Mayweather fight, where he had to go up two weight divisions in a couple or months amd wasn't ready) are questionable decisions. Marquez is definitely the most underrated fighter ever!

46Gabriel Flash Elorde

Gabriel is without a doubt the greatest filipino boxer in history! Even better than Pacquiao. He is responsible for 88 wins and one of the most respected figures of all time, RIP Gabriel FLASH Elorde

Elorde is the greatest boxer in the world no doubt! He will beat anyone in the ring and outside and is so much better than Manny PAcquiao! RIP you legend

If Roberto Duran is the best Lightweight in history then Gabriel Flash Elorde is the best in the Featherweight division in History... Heck Donaire had "flash" in his Alias for a reason ;p

The "Flash" is the best featherweight of all time, world champion! He would beat any body, I mean he won 88 fights! RIP Great boxer of the Filipino Islands!

47Ricky Hatton

Great boxer and supreme guy.

If he had taken better care of himself between fights, who knows...maybe?

Yo-yo dieting takes it out of you. Trust me, I know!

Wouldn't have a bad word said about our Ricky, though. Top lad. The Roger Black of the division. Manny and Floyd are the Michael Johnson.

Not the best boxer. Don't think he really deserves to be on the list, He was a bit slow and not very accurate with his punches. A fighter like marquez would have tortured him.

He almost beast floyd mayweather he just kept leading with his head - gummysniper

He was ripped loom at him in his prime - gummysniper

The southpaw that was robbed of victory of Julio Cesear Chavez and Oscar Delahoya.

He destroyed Chavez when Chavez was undefeated. The "draw" was one of the biggest ripoffs of all time. A top 20 fighter who lacked the flair and publicity of many of those ranked above him. Sweetpea was a joy to watch!

50Alexis Arguello

Alexis was a true fighter and it was very awful. The way Aaron using stimulate win that fight. And of course the rematch Alexis was going to loose he got beat physical and mental the first time but it was wrong they never did the urine test on Aaron

Talk about a true class act, Alexis is all that and more! If it wasn't for the "other bottle" with Pryor he would have ranked much higher.

No wonder why he is known as "El Caballero del Ring".

51Shane Mosley

Crazy skills. Damn those chopping right hands. Great speed and power. Great heart. Never has had his will broken, has only lost to decisions (NO knockout losses). Coolest style in boxing right now. Overall nice guy.
What more could you ask for?

I give Sugar Shane the "Sexiest Eyes" award. Great boxer, easy on the eyes.

Move like a boxer. Hit like a brawler

52Bobby Pacquiao

He's just using the name of manny and I think he make a little proof by winning on his own but as a boxer I think he still have made a good accomplishment on his own.

Pacquiao turned professional in 1997. He won the Philippine super featherweight title four times in years 2002 and 2004.

56Antonio Tarver

He beat Roy Jones twice. He beat Danny Green. He beat Montell Griffin, he beat Eric Harding, and he beat Glen Johnson. Antonio Tarver is a great fighter, and he's underrated.

57Rubin Carter (Hurricane)

Has nobody actually head his story!? What he went through? And it wasn't even him! Listen to the song by Bob Dylan and knock some sense into ya

Social injustices was the case. That happen to Rubin Carter.

He was a beast and deserves a top 20 easy.

Is cool and he is the best!

59Nonito Donaire

Wow he belongs to the elite boxer in the world but to belong to the greatest he should prove much more to the people that he can dominate the other elite on his weight class, because it's the only mean to be on top against the others.

This guy should be number 1.. The best pound per pound boxer in the world... Put a lightweight in this guy and he'll destroy
Them all.

He is folow the footstep of the filipino flash elorde.
Every time he went up to the ring nobody can beat him.. He is the next champion of the world
