Yes, Knuckles is someone who could protect Shadow from Eggman and Black Doom. Knuxouge is a cool pairing, I will admit. But Knuxadow has a better chance. Shadow is a similar name to Rouge, and Shadow likes the color red, and guess who is red? KNUCKLES! So whoever thinks this is a bad pairing is totally wrong. They can keep their opinion and say Shadow is too old but, let me say this, he cannot really age. He is 15 psychically and 50 chronically yes, but he is beyond immortal.
