Top Ten Classic Rock Albums of All Time

The Contenders: Page 5XW

81Slippery When Wet

I can understand Bon Jovi on a worst rock bands list, but on this list with The Who, The Beatles, Stones and Led Zeppelin?

Great album, should be much much higher

82Houses of the Holy - Led Zeppelin
83Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath

The beginning of heavy metal, unbelievable album

84Toys In the Attic - Aerosmith

This is such a great album, the song "walk this way" has changed the music world so much!

85The Joshua Tree - U2

This album changed the music industry forever. U2 is such an amazing group, and Bono is a great person.

86Bat Out of Hell - Meat Loaf

Perfect album. Best vocalist in all of rock.

87Quadrophenia - The Who

This album was revolutionary. Tommy was their first rock opera but this one built on Tommy and added new elements. Pete Townshend considers it his magnum opus and rightfully so.

88Let It Be - The Beatles

Had a few hits and a few misses. Easily worse than its predecessor, Abbey Road. Despite these facts, it should be higher.

89Reckless - Bryan Adams

How does any whitesnake album get placed above this

90Electric Ladyland - The Jimi Hendrix Experience

Way to Low on the list. This album crashed through so many barriers it's impossible to list them here.

This should in in the top 5 greatest albums of all time.

91Selling England by the Pound - Genesis

Best Progressive album ever, and generally a great album, the music is just orgasmic.

Peter Gabriel in his best.

92Led Zeppelin - Presence

Highly underrated album. Tea for One, Nobody's Fault but Mine, and who could forget Achilles Last Stand. The only dud on this album is Candy Store Rock, other than that this album is pure gold

Great instrumental work and production a very underrated album.

93London Calling - The Clash

One of the best albums ever recorded!
