Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Stairway wins hands down, but Bohemian Rhapsody easily takes Second. Behind those two songs, there is simply no comparison. The sheer complexity interwoven with the lyrical themes as well as the progressive style make these two songs seem as though God reached down and touched Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and Freddy Mercury for the few moments that they recorded these songs.

Stairway was in fact stolen from "taurus" by spirit. Just consider that before you vote it as the best song ever. And the fact that they took Dazed and Confused as well. Queen took recording to a new height with this song and should be number one. All the vocals, although sounding like a full chorus were in fact only contributed by the band itself. Not bad eh?

Don't get me wrong, Stairway to Heaven is a great song, but Bohemian Rhapsody trumps all other rock songs by a long shot. This is by far the most unique and daring compositions Queen, or any band for that matter, has ever produced. The lyrics, vocals, and instrumental are far superior to Stairway to Heaven. It should definitely be #1.

Bohemian rhapsody is our gold! No one can deny it with the mixture of Freddie mercury's phenomenal vocals (which is one of the best ever I might add), Brian may's awesomely amazing guitar skills, Roger Taylor's fantastic drumming, and John deacons excellent bass playing how could you go wrong with this song. Queen forever!

There's no contender when it comes to Bohemian Rhapsody. I mean, it's not my FAVORITE song, but I really do still LOVE it like every other Queen song, and it DOES deserve to be Number 1. Or any position higher than '4'. Ugh.
I'd like to thank God for sending Freddie down from heaven.

I love this song! Love it! Don't you? This should be the top song ever played of classic rock. The best vocals ever. What do you think about it? What do you thing the best of the group is? I am not sure. VOTE THIS! VOTE THIS! VOTE THIS! AWESOME SONG EVER RIGHT HERE!

This song consists of several sections: a ballad segment ending with a guitar solo, an operatic passage, and a hard rock section. At the time, it was the most expensive single ever made and it remains one of the most elaborate recordings in popular music history.

The artistry in this song and the variation in the sounds found in this song along with the fact that Queen is a great band make this awesome! All the songs on this list are great with great bands, but the top of the list is reserved for classic rock royalty.

I love the song almost above ALL Queen songs. It isn't my favorite, but I love it a lot. But one thing about this list is that most of it is the most popular. Like the person from Facebook had said, popular doesn't mean greatest. And it's also all a matter of opinion!

Its the most awesome rock song I've ever herd in my whole entire life. I would strongly recommend this to maybe hmm... Any one in the whole entire world that has ears that work properly and to people that actually know epic music when they hear it!

No other song combines styles so perfectly. The way it changes, but is still so balanced, is magnificent. Queen could pull off nearly any genre of music beautifully. That's the reason that they are still so popular. - ObsessedwFreddie

I understand, nothing beats Stairway, but this should be a close No. 2. This is one of the most unique songs ever and it deserves more respect. Stairway is great too, but it's so overplayed I can't stand it anymore. - cyclone1248

This is song is the best. It's Queen's masterpiece, and truly unique from other rock songs of its time. The composition of the song is so complex, but all together, Bohemian Rhapsody is simply amazing.

This song is by far the best classic rock song in my opinion. It has amazing vocals and the style is just so unique and intriguing. It's impossible to listen to this and not want to sing along!

This song is very intricate and touching! Awesome! Queen is one of the best in addition to Heart, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Journey, the Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Rolling Stones...

Love, Love, Love this song. This was the Queen song I grew up with, well growing up with, I'm only 13 and this song has taught me so much about good music, good singing, and general awesomeness.

The most beautiful song ever made! This is that state of the art, only Freddie "The God Of Music" Mercury could write a song like this... Only Freddie!

This song is a piece of culture. Victory anthem and a ballad at the same time, how is this not number one? I love this and I listen to it all the time: soundtrack to my life.

1. Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody"
2. Led Zeppelin "Stairway To Heaven"
3. The Beatles "Hey Jude"
4. John Lennon "Imagine"
5. The Beatles "I Want To Hold Your Hand"
6. Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
7. The Eagles "Hotel California"
8. Elvis Presley "Jailhouse Rock"
9. The Rolling Stones "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"
10. Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb"

I love this song! Oh how I love the layering! I could listen to this on repeat all day! Freddy Mercury was a musical genius! Beautiful vocals and transitioning

THE best song! Not only is there amazing vocals but the instrumentals are beyond phenomenal! A classic rock musical masterpiece that should be number one.

I love this song, possibly one of my favorite songs ever. Gotta love queen. The piano in this song is amazing, as is Freddie Mercury. RIP Freddie x

This is clearly the greatest rock song of all time not stairway to heaven. Stairway to heaven is a fantastic song but is heavily overrated.

Ok, if you put this songs on really quality speakers you can hear all the basses and Freddie Mercury's vocals. My opinion is this is nu.1
