A band with a lead vocalist, guitarists and a percussionist is all you need. Not easy, but worth it. Who could deny some of their genius lyrics, upbeating chords and else? Even if people listen to other music nowadays and this isn't the 21st Centuries anymore, we still stick to the old days.

This is the most screwed up list in history... HOW IS RAP, COUNTRY AND RB IN THE TOP 3! @paasadani, I don't agree with this list at all.

Electronic is what I shall always vote for. Country and rap even being on this list, let alone in top positions, is simply obscene.

Electronic should exchange it's place with R&B.

Why is rap #1? Classical is timeless and will be loved forever. Eventually people will stop liking rap.

Bad Religion, Sex Pistols, and Green Day (actually pop-punk, which is still punk in a way) are a few punk rock bands. The subgenre influenced thrash metal because of it's down stroked guitar playing and other factors.
