Korean kimchi and other fermented foods are very healthy. They have lots of vitamins and minerals and protein and everything, I assure you. They may be seen as a bit disgusting or unusual food to other countries and Western people, but it is scientifically proved that Korean food is tasty and good for your health. They can be salty, yes, I do admit that, but other nutrients back up that flaw, so it is okay. We also use lots of vegetables, unlike Japan, which uses lots of fish, and China, which uses lots of meats like pork and gammon.
Korean food history is more than three thousand years old, and it has developed in good, better ways. If you start eating Korean food, at first, you might feel gross and stuff, but if you keep eating, it will become quite addictive.

The FDA are in bed with Monsanto. The U.S. does produce good food, but many are ignorant as to what is healthy and what is not. I've lived in both places for years at a time. Basically, what ruins U.S. food can be summed up in three words that are used in incredibly high quantities: salt, fat, sugar.
