Countries With the Most Interesting History
In my opinion Greece should be on top of the list. The founders of the western world, and a rich, cultural and loong history, longer than Italy's. its fascinating
Greece has a very unique history. From it's famous mythology to its fatal ancient wars, this country has it all.
Because of the sheer scale, spectrum, and prominence of influences Greek history has recorded.

Interesting, but way too high up in my opinion
China and Vietnam histories are similar.
How come China below Greece, Italy and, especially USA?! China has thousand years interesting history. USA only has 300 years, plus it all about the British. Boring!
China should be #1 or #2. China has histories of thousands of years, and it so interesting.
Don't believe me? Try to search about China's histories, you're gonna get other histories out of your mind.
China below USA? You must be reaming me.

There's nothing interesting about American history.
Short history, but all of that history is interesting
French Revolution, Bourbon Dynasty, Seven Years' War, Napoleonic Wars, WW1, WW2, and much more. France perhaps has one of the best histories along with the U.K and Germany.
Beginning with the Holy Roman Empire (of German Nation), over the German Confederation to the Weimar Republic and Third Reich, the division into west and east and the reunion in '89... there are so many things Germany went through! World War 1 & 2 and the importance in Europe because of its central position come also to mind.
I believe the German history is one of the most interesting! Top 3 is debatable, but I think Top 10 seems worthy.
Germany should be in the top3.
Prussia, Franco-Prussian war, Berlin conference (startingpoint of the trade and colonization in Africa), German colonial Empire, Herero-Namaqua genocides, WW1, Responsibility for WW1, revolution in Germany, Weimar Republic (economy crisis), Nazi Germany, Hindenburg Desaster, Responsibility for WW2, Partition of Germany, Berlin blockade, Berlin Wall, Fall of the Berlin Wall (official end of the iron curtain), reunification...
The UK definitely has a rich history, especially England. It should be higher on the list than America because its history is a lot bigger and they were a fairly big part of it at one point
Britain has a way more interesting history than others like America, only reason it's higher on this list is because the salty Americans think they are better than everyone else.
One of the most important nations in history. It had the largest empire and influence out of any European language. Thanks to them, the entire world speaks English.

Longest continuous monarchy in the world & in history. Extremely divine-like historical events.
Interesting quirky culture that blends old and modern. It's so isolated that it does it's own thing
Has a really sad, cold, dark history. But it's surprisingly diverse. The government is awful like China!
Went from a trading confederation of norsemen & balto-slavic tribes, to become a mongol vassal, then became the largest northern territorial empire & european superpower in just a short span 500 years.
Russia's history is certainly not pleasant; but it is very interesting and complex
Poland has gone through a lot of fates and falls, but look, it's still on the map. Although she was always in a difficult place not to fight anyone, despite the partitions by three powers: Austria, Russia and Prussia, despite the aggression of the Third Reich and a knife stuck in the back by the Soviet Union and those about 40 years of communism, it still exists. Do you know how many people shed blood for her ?! Do you know how much honor means to Polish Officers ?! Do you know how many Poles risked their lives to save Jews ?! And yet there are so many stereotypes saying that they started the holocaust ... Learn more about this country and its history, you will see how many times Poland helped others and got nothing for it
The only country that has been existing since the biblical times that is still an large nation state de facto. Very underrated culture, cuisine and region.
This country is beautiful due to the jnfluence that the Persians left behind. From the art and music to even the influence on modern architecture in Tehran and Shiraz.

This should be at the top along with Peru, this was home to the aztec people which in my opinion are the most interesting people of all time along with Inca!
Getting increasingly underrated in the west as well as in asia. The impacts of the mongols and the khans are overly vast and cannot be justified in just a sentence, completely altering the trajectory of civilizational states like Russia (Golden Horde), India (mughal descendants), China (yuan & qing dynasties) & turkey (anatolia).
From the amount of kdramas that has been made over their very rich history, their historical landmarks, their art styles, and the music instruments... this is definitely what I’d call interesting
