Creepiest Pokedex Entries

These are creepy, gross, and disturbing entries to me. I hope you like it.
The Top Ten
1 Hypno Hypno, known in Japan as Sleeper, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

"It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized."

Seriously, why isn't this on the list? If you've listened to the lullaby then there's plenty of reasons why this Pokemon is creepy.

I agree, as crazy as it may sound this Pokemon is CREEPY! I heard Hypno's lullably but I was still skeptic till Even in the Pokemon White 2 game you have to save a child from Hypno. 0_0

This with the side of hypnos lullaby is scarier than the devils balls

He look like scary with the best moment in song's music.

2 Yamask Yamask, known in Japan as Desumasu, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

So like you die and turn into this Pokemon? USED TO BE HUMAN? So that means when I die I become this thing. The hell?

Wait so you catch human spirts and use them to fight @-@ wow hard after life

Well this is creepy and sad

Look at the evolution too.

3 Banette Banette, known in Japan as Juppeta, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The fact that a discarded doll came to life is already nightmare material. The other creepy facts are just icing on the cake.

It's a dead puppet that wants to find, curse, and kill its disowner. Talk about vengence! I mean, a Zangoose wants to kill its lifelong enemy, but your owner? COME ON, PKMN!

This should be #1 I mean it's a childs worst nightmare his own toy becoming something hunting himher down I mean seriously.

Just plain creepy

4 Drowzee Drowzee, known in Japan as Sleepe, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

As you sleep it eats your dreams through your nose. It likes nice dreams. It eats dreams of adults but prefers children because their much tastier.

5 Cubone Cubone, known in Japan as Karakara, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The first time I heard this pokedex entry... I was upset, nearly in tears.

From Pokemon Ruby:
It pines for the mother it will never see again. Seeing a likeness to it's mother in the full moon, it cries. The stains on the skull it wears are from the tears it sheds.

I...personally Have a lot of respect for cubone but when I heard the pokedex entry from firered/leafgreen stating something along the lines of that it wears the skull of its dead mother and when it thinks of its mother it cries.that some messed up Pokemon entry right there

It wears the skull of it's dead mother. "When it thinks of it's mother, it cries. It's crying makes the skull it wears rattle hollowly. "

Not only is this dex sad to read, mix it with Mandibuzz's and you know that Mandibuzz prey on Cubone while they are crying for their mother! And when it evolved, its skull morphes with its head. Yikes...

6 Gengar Gengar, known in Japan by the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

"Should you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up."

Wh-What? "There is no escaping it"? "Give up"? And Pokémon is supposed to be a kids game! Jeez!

It lurks in the shadows and he's behind your shadow

7 Phantump

Pokedex Entries
These Pokémon are created when spirits possess rotten tree stumps. They prefer to live in abandoned forests.
According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest.

8 Litwick Litwick is a Ghost/Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It resembles a small candle with a purple flame that can absorb life energy from people and Pokémon. Despite its cute appearance, Litwick's method of energy absorption gives it a somewhat sinister undertone. Its unique typing and design make it a favorite among fans and an interesting addition to any Pokémon team.

You're dead before you now it. And with their cuteness, they'll trick you EASY! They will lead the way... TO YOUR DEAD!

And don't forget Lampent and Chandelure. It's perfect teamwork: Litwick drains your life energy, then Lampent/Chandelure burns your SOUL. Probably eternally. Eternal suffering and pain… :(

They should be NUMBER 1!

Since when did candles try to take peoples souls?

9 Rhyhorn
10 Jellicent

That's scary they probably live in the Bermuda triangle.

They're so cute!

The Contenders
11 Chandelure

Yet another ghost type Pokemon strikes again, it justs takes the spirit, but leaves the deceased corpse of its victim lying their on the floor, what does it do to the spirits it absorbs anyways? Does it use it as energy, does it put it in some giant collection, or maybe its just so sadistic and brutal that it thinks taking spirits from humans are amusing in some way...

Chandelure is pretty much a more powerful version of lampent and litwick. I guess it is not as creepy but more plain terrifying. it lures you and hypnotizes you with spirit fire and then incinerates your soul, using it as fuel. it doesn't have to wait for you to be weak or weary or go through the drag of leading you to the ghost world. nope! It just steals your soul and goes on to murder and destroy the essences of anyone else it feels like. it being a supposedly inanimate object and having glowing pupil-less golden eyes doesn't help.

Being consumed in chandelures flame bruns up the spirit, leaving the body behind

12 Kadabra

Fire Red Entry:
"It happened one morning - a boy with extrasensory powers awoke in bed transformed into Kadabra."

13 Lampent

It arrives near the moment of death and steals spirit from the body

It waits at hospitals for people to pass

14 Gothorita

They use hypnosis to control people and Pokemon. tales of gothorita leading people astray are told in every corner

So what? Gothitelle can see your exact time of death.

15 Feraligatr Feraligatr, known in Japan as Ordile, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Why did you even put this on here?! Banette should be here or at #1 instead!

I love this Pokemon is so powerful and feral

16 Deino

They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings. Their bodies are covered in wounds

? Rabid dino biting people.

17 Darumaka

Ew hear this: darumakas droppings are hot, so people used to put them on their clothes to keep themselves warm.

Grosser than Garbodor!

18 Elgyem

It could had been a ailen species look it saids this Pokemon had never been seen until appeared from far in the desert 50 years ago.

19 Haunter Haunter, known in Japan as Ghost, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

By licking, it saps the victim's life. It causes shaking that won't stop until the victim's demise.

Why is this not higher on this list

20 Cacturne's Saphire Entry

So, what exactly is cacturne trying to do that's why its creepy, it lets you come up with your own ending, but still forces it to be somewhat disturbing, I think the least disturbing thing you can think off is that its trying to steal something, but there are plently of other scary endings resulting in an assassination, slave making, and all that stuff, I am disturbed...

21 Mimikyu Mimikyu is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a Ghost and Fairy type whose ability, disguise, allows it to take one hit without taking damage

-A lonely pokemon. It conceals its terrifying appearance beneath an old rag so it can get closer to people an other pokemon.
-After going to all the effort to disguise itself, its neck was broken. Whatever is inside is probably unharmed, but it's still feeling sad.
-Its actual appearance is unknown. A scholar who saw what was under its rag was overwhelmed by terror and died from the shock.

So why are you not in the top 10 entries, again?

22 Shuppet
23 Dusknoir Dusknoir, known in Japan as Yonoir, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

How could this not be on the list! A ghost Pokemon that kidnaps wandering children at nicht

It takes people to the spirit world and there is no escape!

24 Honedge

I saw Honedge at night in front of me flying, I would just run the heck home.

Apparently this Pokémon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force. This is... Creepy...

25 Weepinbell

"If its prey is bigger than its mouth, it slices up the victim with sharp leaves, then eats every morsel."

Ok, that's a bit too much information ya?

And its form pre-evolution looks like a peashooter.
