5 Cross Country Jumping

Cross country equestrian jumping is an endurance test that forms one of the three phases of the sport of eventing ; it may also be a competition in its own right, known as hunter trials or simply " cross - country ", although these tend to be lower level, local competitions.

The horse can slip in the grass or water, and you are approaching sturdier jumps at a much faster speed

Cross Country Jumping should be higher up, defiantly above Show Jumping

6 Horse Racing

It is the most dangerous because you are pushing the horse to its too limit with up to 20 horses surrounding you and if you make one mistake you could fall off the horse and get trampled by a ton of other horses which could possible kill you or give you severe injuries. The horse could also click hooves with another horse and get injured do to falling. You could also have drugged hirses to because most owners don't care about the horse they just aant the money which make the injury chance a higher percentage. Therefore horse racing is the most dangerous for the rider and the horse.

Horse racing is an equestrian performance sport, involving two or more jockeys riding horses over a set distance for competition. It is one of the most ancient of all sports and its basic premise " to identify which of two or more horses is the fastest over a set course or distance " has remained unchanged since the earliest times

It is a little risky. Mostly when the other jockeys try to get you to quite or back down they may even black mail you to fix a race

7 Show Jumping

The competitive riding of horses one at a time over a set course of obstacles in which the winner is judged according to ability and speed.

The horse is going as fast as it can at sometimes 4ft jumps and is usally VERY excited

Horses get exited when jumping

8 Barrel Racing

Barrel Racing should definitely be number one or two. First, you go at lightning speed on a giant beast that doesn't know how to kick a ball in a straight line. Second, horses can slide and face plant causing you to fall forward and ram your core against the saddle horn possibly causing internal damage. Third, if you fall off the horse you could get rolled over by the horse and die or get severely injured. Fourth, if you run into a barrel you could easily dislocate a knee cap or even fracture a leg, been there done that. Fifth, you pretty much have more control over this giant 1200 pound animal as it runs as fast as it possibly can. AND lastly, you could get thrown off the horse and hit a fence of the arena, land on your back or neck, and even land on a barrel all of these could cause one to be paralyzed or even die. So if I were you I would get my facts straight and realize barrel racing should be in the top three most dangerous equine sports.

You are going at neck breaking speed and going around three barrel not knowing how the horse is gonna react
