Tel Aviv is the economic and technological center of the country, while its seat of government is in its proclaimed capital of Jerusalem, although Israeli sovereignty over East Jerusalem is unrecognized internationally.

Well, it is a developed country so that explains why its first. I am a Pakistani, but I don't bear any negativity towards Israel honestly. Its more that I have a bone to pick against its government (I also have the same against the Pakistani government), but that's about it.

Not even vote-worthy. Most start ups per capita, most museums per capita, most scientific academic papers per capita highest entrepreneurship rate in the world amongst people aged 55+ and amongst women, the only country to enter the 21st century with a net gain in trees, 2nd most PhDs per capita.
Highest score on HDI, very financially developed and built up despite the hardships it has and the hostile neighbors.

Israel, the only country in the middle east, and around the world, made many of technological breakthroughs, in medical, energy usage of daily life, military, education, that applied to one of the smartest race in the world, The Jews.

They treat everyone equally, including Palestinians. It is in fact the most progressive in the middle east. All this country wants is peace as proven when they accepted the 2 state solution as apposed to the surrounding countries fueled by anti-semitism.

I can't help but have this feeling that the UAE is a bit too pompous as a country. I've personally been there numerous times, and tall buildings are commonplace. I can pretty much tell it's a developed country. Its really nice looking that's for sure, but its not my type of country personally.

This should be number 1 on the list. I don't get how the hell Israel (which is always in war and is wrecked and is so backward in terms of infrastructure than UAE can even be on this list). Just compare Dubai to Tel Aviv.

The UAE is the best country to live in with great leaders and people. Honestly, I personally believe it should be number 1

Obviously its UAE

I think they are in the 2nd place right after Israel. The reason is because other Persian Gulf countries are just big importers with beautiful buildings and fancy airlines and nothing more.

There was a time where Iran was one of the most Westernized, secular, progressive, and pro-American country in the region. The rest is history. Let that sink in.

Most of countries above just sell enormous amout of oil and waste the money on weapons they don't even know how to use. Iran is a LITTLE better. At least they try.

Now Israel yes, but Saudi Arabia being more advanced than Iran is just absurd. The country imports even mineral water.

Also, it is a developing country with a good amount of resources and in developed areas, it is rather thriving. It should also be noted that Pakistan is (Currently) the only Muslim country to possess Nuclear Power, which is an impressive, but also a dangerous record.
