Top Ten Most Disappointing Characters In Lego Marvel Superheroes

Coming up with a list of the "Worst" Characters in the game was harder than I thought. There aren't many characters that are bad. 5-10 are definitely more disappointing than bad. Also, rules. For this top ten, I am leaving filler characters off the list, such as Damage Control and A.I.M. Agent. Those characters have a purpose in the game and they make sense. I am also not including characters that were in the movies, such as Aunt May and Maria Hill. So don't be shocked if characters like Symbiote Scientist and JJJ do not make this list. Okay, enjoy!
The Top Ten
1 Liberty

Okay. We did not WANT or NEED this character to be playable. This is actually the WORST character in the game. Please tell me someone who is going to play as this character in a MARVEL SUPERHEROES GAME! I get the point of her coming up in the story and all, but this is a waste. I can think of 15 other characters that I know are very popular that could've been in this game INSTEAD of the Statue of Liberty. This is as disappointing as it gets in Lego Marvel Superheroes.

Why?why why why? This is a collectible minifigure, not a Superhero! Lego could've made a colectible minifigure videogame and put her there instead.

This is marvel superheroes, Not marvel statues, they actually put this in the game?

Totally agree

2 H.E.R.B.I.E.

This character is WAY more annoying than Squirrel Girl. Now, don't get me wrong. H.E.R.B.I.E. looks cool. But...really? We needed this as a PLAYABLE character? This is where I understand that this game is generated towards kids. Kids love him and Squirrel Girl. I get it. But I look at the roster of this game and see this character as a sore thumb. He's not very useful either.

Herbie is cool

3 Squirrel Girl

Yes, I know this is going to disappoint people. I get it. This is a character whose been appearing in so much lately. I get the irony of the character and the point of her being in this game. I get that she's "adorable" and that she can glide. But Squirrel Girl drives me nuts (no pun intended). I don't really understand the fascination with this character (she's not even that cute! ) She's very annoying and her squirrel noises are crazy too! Obviously, this is personal preference. You may really love Squirrel Girl.

Do her instead of Thanos. Makes Sense obviously

4 Absorbing Man

They could have at least given him Sandman's abilities or something. Yeesh!

He doesn't really do anything interesting.

5 Mastermind

I just don't know or understand this character. He's kind of a boring looking character. I mean, seriously? What the hell is he wearing? He doesn't do much apart from mind control. But that's it. He has some interesting animations, but it doesn't do anything as a character. He wasn't in any of the Iron Man movies. He's not very popular either, so they could've easily cut this character from the roster easily. There are much more popular mind control characters that could've taken his spot in the story. He just doesn't seem to add anything to the game at all.

6 Emma Frost Emma Grace Frost is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men . The character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #129 (January 1980), and was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer John Byrne . Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen, has evolved from a supervillain and foe of the X-Men, to becoming a superhero and one of the X-Men's most central members and leaders .

Frost belongs to a subspecies of humanity called mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities . She is an urbane telepath with a well-noted, dry wit .

This is a disappointment. I don't hate Emma Frost obviously. Myself and a bunch of others are disappointed how she came out because of her abilities. She can turn into her diamond form. Awesome. The problem is it doesn't really do anything. It doesn't make her invincible, it doesn't make her stronger, and it doesn't make her do anything different than what she does without it. There is so much mind control and telepathy stuff they could've done with this character. She's also very popular which makes it even more upsetting that she came out this way.

Well I consider her a anti-heroine

Same as above

7 Union Jack

I don't have a good reason to not like Union Jack in this game. I just don't feel like there is a good reason for his presence in this game. There are a lot of other characters that could've represented well in this game. He is obviously here for the British Contingent (Yes, Captain Britain is in the game). Captain Britain makes sense to be in the game since his is the most powerful. But Union Jack? He doesn't do anything in the story of the game. All he does is shoot a gun. He doesn't really serve any purpose to me. It seems odd that he is one of the characters that made it in the game.

8 Howard the Duck Howard the Duck is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

I'm sure a lot of you remember his movie from the 80's. Yeah. Okay, so there is novelty for having Howard in the game and his rocket launcher is cool. Once you get past the novelty, then you think to yourself "Wow. Ultron, Vision, and others didn't make it into this game, and Howard did." I think he's in here as just a joke and nothing more. He can't even ride vehicles or access technology like EVERYONE ELSE! To me, this is a waste of a character.

What are you talking about everone wanted howard the duck to be in the game

9 Doctor Doom Doctor Victor Von Doom, better known as Doctor Doom, is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character usually is a villain of the Fantastic Four. He debuted in The Fantastic Four #5.

Don't attack me. I don't hate Doctor Doom. He's pretty cool. I just feel like there was missed opportunity in the fact that he can't float, like Magneto. It wouldn't be out of character for him to do that. If he could float I would certainly use him way more, so that's my big thing with him.

10 Mini-Sentinel

Kind of like Doctor Doom, I don't understand why this guy can't fly. We all know that from the movie and the game that sentinels can fly. So why can't our playable character be able to fly.

The Contenders
11 Black Cat
12 Aunt May Aunt May is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, the character made her first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15.

They could of... Of... Made her a wizard!

How is this not 1?

13 Mighty Destroyer
14 Superior Spider-Man

This character isn't a bad character gameplay wise. I just don't like this character. The storyline was interesting at first, but then it got pretty lame. Let's face it, Spider-Man is Peter Parker. It was interesting when he was crawling up in the consciousness of his body, but after that it got lame. Very glad his comics ended and that Peter Parker is back. So my judgement is mainly on Superior Spider-Man rather than the fact that he's in the game.

15 Bruce Banner
16 Mary Jane Watson
17 Carnage Carnage (Cletus Kassidy) is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an enemy of Spider-Man. He appeared for the first time in The Amazing Spider-Man #361.

He should have a special ability that is totally awesome

He is not as good as I would have wanted

18 Arnim Zola
19 Roxxon Guard
20 Odin Odin Borson is a fictional character appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was the former King of Asgard, protector of the Nine Realms, father of Hela and Thor, the adoptive father of Loki, husband of Frigga, and was known as the "God of War and Wisdom". 21 Ronan Ronan the Accuser is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Lee Pace.

I don't think he can release force blasts without THE POWERSTONE, so that means he DO wields it on his hammer, but is still VERY UNDERPOWERD. still, I like him because he was overpowerd in the movie(if he wields the power stone.)

22 Black Widow Natalia Alianovna Romanova, most known as Natasha Romanoff or the Black Widow, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is one of the most talented spies and assassins in the entire world and is a founding member of the Avengers. The character was created by Stan Lee, Jae Lee, Don Heck, Paul Jenkins, and Don Rico, and was portrayed by Scarlett Johansson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She has very Little powers. She cannot fly or shoot at all.

23 S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent

He has Only a gun and he hasn't invisibility powers like Nick Fury or black widow (who are members of the S.H.I.E.L.D)
