Top Ten Easy Listening Artists

This is not a list of my personal favourite Easy-listening artists, but purely a list of some of the most popular ones that I know of. Naturally, I have added a few of my personal favourites but you'll most likely have your own idea on what you regard as "easy listening" Feel free to vote for an existing item, add your personal favourite or remix it to suit your own taste.

Frank might clock you one if he found out you classified him as easy listening.

6 The Carpenters

Anyone who knows me knows my feelings on The Carpenters. Ahh...best left unsaid. But I do appreciate that they are extremely liked by many many people. It would be indecent of me not to include them.

My absolute favourite singer, and an incredible woman, with one of the best voices within the last 50 years. NO ONE could sing like she could, you could literally FEEL the emotion in her voice. Something that nearly no one else could achieve but Laura.

10 Shirley Bassey Dame Shirley Veronica Bassey is a Welsh singer whose career began in the mid-1950s, best known both for her powerful voice and for recording the theme songs to the James Bond films Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, and Moonraker.

I like his songs and his covers. They're nice to chill to. Same as John Legend's songs.

15 Coldplay Coldplay are a British pop rock band formed in 1996. The band consists of Chris Martin (lead vocalist and pianist), Jonny Buckland (lead guitarist), Guy Berryman (bassist) and Will Champion (drummer and backing vocalist). I know this is a lot more recent then what you were thinking of, but coldplay is so great to relax to that I just had to add it!
