I love this song! It's amazing! I love the film Aladdin so much, such a romantic vibe from it! Taught me a lot! And honestly one amazing film! I watch it ALL the time!
I really love this song! I sing this song every time I'm in Vocal Classes.
I absolutely love this song plus my brother was in Aladdin so it got me into Aladdin songs so thank you big bro ~Maddi~
Amazing song from Lea and Brad!V8 Comments
The Lion King has to be one of the best Disney films because of all the music. It has feeling, emotion, and the rhythms they use show how they where really influenced by African culture and music. Defiantly the best!
Who the heck hates this song? This by far the best Disney song. I mean, you can remember the lyrics AND the scene itself, with the beautiful animation. The singing is so powerful, as well as the African chants. Simba is so lucky to have this as his birth song. I want it, too! Simply the best.
Best disney song ever it fits the movie perfectly and it's so cute when young Simba is in the hand of his mother Sarabi
Why is a whole new world first? This song craps all over it. GO LION KINGV23 Comments
I love this song! It explains about why she wants to be with Eric, and why she would do anything to be with him. Ariel sings it beautifully as Jodi Benson and on Broadway. Dang it, now I'm singing it!
I love this song. when I was little me and my aunt would sing it. (while my uncle sang shut up to the tune of it. - aubreycm
This is one of the best songs I've ever heard. My did the play version of this and I was Ariel. Singing Part of Your World was so much fun. This should be at the top
WAY better than A Whole New World. This song has so much meaning. Love it!V9 Comments
This is a classic case of people denying their feelings. But I still don't think that anyone could possibly replicate this kind of song! When I first heard it, it got stuck in my head for much more than a week!
It is so applicable to everyday life, not just the movie. It made the movie just so much easier to relate to, which is quite a feat considering the plot and characters of the story.
One of the most realistic love songs I've heard -
I love this song so much. Just the denial of being in love, and the fear that if you do, you will only be hurt. Plus great melody and vocals. Really well done.V11 Comments
This song makes me cry, even before the words start, even when I'm not watching the movie, even when I just hear the name. What I think is the best part is that the name belle translates to beauty- literally making beauty and the beast. I know basically everyone probably knows that but it took me over ten years to realise and I just figured it out!
Easily the second best romance cong of all time (Just after that song from Titanic). I love this song!! I hit above 9800 on Singstar on this song without cheating. Just try and beat 9880. Anyone beaten that score?? I didn't think so. - brom3780
THIS is the best disney song of ALL time, its about the importance of love beyond materialism and worldly values. This song is about humanity and more importantly, about MORALITY, something that recent disney movies have begun to forget (cough... cough... FROZEN.. cough... )
This song literally brings me to tears. And Celine Dion's version is KILLER. Meaningful and sweet lyrics, this is an absolute classic.V9 Comments
Okay Just being honest but how is this not one of the top 3 and why the heck is Pocahontas number 8 on this list. Who cares for Pocahontas 1 in 1 million people that's who. Wheres Hakuna Matata and Why is I can't wait to be king and Go the distance not in the top 10 this list is really skewered.
Just LOVE this song... When I first saw the movie I sang this song over and over... It's really joyful and happy
I love Ariel she is totes hot so cool laugh out loud I totes love her songs
Got four words for ya. CUTEST DISNEY SONG EVER!V7 Comments
Yes, this is by far the best and it only isn't up there because it's so new but it's pending for an award it's so good and right after frozen came out! Idina Menzel sings it which is what makes it just a hundred times better and she has such a strong and beautiful voice that fits in perfectly with Elsa's woman-powered song. And the animation that goes with it? Beautiful!
It won an Oscar people! Idina Menzel has a very strong, powerful, and beautiful voice, it was well sung. The lyrics also had so much meaning, they teach a powerful lesson to be your self.
A very powerful and emotional song. Everyone can relate to it. It was so beautiful that I actually cried... Probably made other people tear up too.
This is best song ever and I love this song too muchV21 Comments
The spiritual meaning of this song is so powerful, but I especially love Irene's voice! More importantly though, the music itself is just so moving and beautiful. It is genius. Pocahontas will always be my favorite Disney movie. (:
Her voice is amazing and the song has a lot of meaning. This is my favourite disney movie and this was my favourite song growing up.
Pocahontas is such a meaningful movie and this song sums it up!
I love this song and this movie. Despite it's historical inaccuracies I love how dignified the Native Americans are portrayed. The song has the best melodies and its lyrics are some of the best a Disney movie has ever come up with. It is so meaningful and so much more mature that its target audience.
Great meaning and depth to this song. Needs more appreciation. Should be near the top. XxxV16 Comments
Even though they cut the song in half when the movie came out, this song is still amazing! Lea Salonga is the best!
Part of the reason I love this song so much is because it fits me -
This song is beautiful! My fave princess is Jasmin BUT Mulan is the best singer. Reflection will be my fave Disney song 4 years 2 come!
I think I'll make a man out of you was better but I still like this song a lot.V9 Comments
Oh my goodness, this is the best song and best movie ever! The first time I saw this movie, I was singing this song for days!
My favorite Disney song in the world! - AnnaOfArendelle332
I love it! It 's a wonderful song!
One word...Wonderful!V9 Comments
This song is fantastic. How clever is it that Shang sing about making men out of the recruits when the whole movie centers around Mulan being a woman! Oh the irony! The song is very well written and fun and it tells the story of how Mulan progresses in training and becomes a warrior.
Strong inspiring, hilarious. What mare could you want from a song? It tells the story perfectly, and it's a joy to watch Mulan start to make friends and train. The best part is when she finally reaches the top of the pole. :-) - sameera62
This song is really good I listen to it non stop it is really addictive the reason why I like it is that at the end of the song Milan actually achieved her goal and surprises everyone doubting their thought that she is weak and everyone begins to like her. Moral of the song achieve your goals to receive great things
AMAZING SONG! This song is so ironic, clever and exciting. Its one of those that you can't get out of your head for days. I sing this to myself when I'm about to get pumped for something physical or sporty.V17 Comments
There is no better song in my opinion!
If you are looking for a feelgood song then this is definitely the one!
I fell in-love with this song when I first heard it when I was like 7! Now am 15 and me and my friends still enjoy singing along!
This song mentions (Scooby Doo! ) - CN121
Touching, cozy and warm lyrics to me. Always crying gratefully when listening to this song. The lyrics combined with music parts gave me the strength and positive attitude to live on.
I think this is the best soundtrack of all in Disney's Tarzan movie and most meaningful to me I also love 2 Worlds and Stranger Like Me and Son of Man
Try to hear this song played on flute... It's really breathtaking.. That was when I fall deeply in love to this song... Aah (faint)
This song truly speaks to the heart, Its innocence is so beautiful its enough to make me cry...V5 Comments
The song is about a boy who feels like he doesn't belong in his village and goes the extra mile to find where his place is in order to feel accepted, which is what all children go through in life at some point and is made to be very relatable to Hercules.
This song is inspiring, with that touch of emotion that almost makes me want to cry. If there was ever someone who's down, this song would be perfect to sing to them... If they enjoy a little random musical in their lives...
I love this song powerful and loud big and strong. Be Prepared is one of my all time favourite song since I ever first watched the Lion King. This man who sings it is a master at loud slithering voices to terror you. Like I am talking real I mean this who seriously hates this song. If you do you need to give me sugary candy a whole tub. ( just kidding ) the only thing that freeks me out is the bouncy pad things you know what I'm talking about don't you?
One of the best disney songs in my opinion, and the lion king is one of my all time favorite movies and this song always gets stuck in my head every time I hear it, and I always sing along
Scar is a badass villain - Ajkloth
If anyone has ever been to Disneyland/world and stayed until the end you would know why this is the best. - preachinpreach
It's just downright beautiful.
*Smacks Head* Really people?! And you put Let it Go as number 11?! Let it go is really overatted! What about BETTER songs like Little April Showers which had much more excitement and When I see an Elephant fly was way more catchy! But this song! When you Wish upon a star is the diamond throne for Mickey Mouse and the gold crown to all the other Disney characters! It's Disneys theme! Without that song what would we get in that firework intro?! Be Prepared!? Under the Sea?! I'll make a man out of you?! Let it go!? PEOPLE ADMIT IT! FROZEN IS OVERATTED AND YOU WERE EXPECTING MUCH MUCH MUCH X 100000 more in it! Pinocchio is more heartwarming. Pinocchio has better music. And most of all, you got enough from Pinocchio. So this theme for Disney should fly up to number one!
This song is so dark and intense compared to everything else Disney ever made (with the exception of Fantasias Night on Bald Mountain). I mean, Quasimodo sings about innocent love while frollo sings about lust and blames God for it. Some lyrics include.
This fire in my skin
This burning desire
Is turning my to... Sin...
It's not my fault (mea culpa (through my fault))
I'm not to blame (mea culpa)
It it the gypsy girl, the witch who sent this flame (maxima mea culpa)
Its not my fault! (mea culpa)
If in God's plan,
He made the devil so much stronger than a man.
Protect me, Maria (Mary)
Don't let this siren. Cast her spell,
Don't let her fire sear my flesh and bone...
And let her taste the fires of hell
Or else let her be mine and mine alone...
That is purely Disney at its darkest
This song is just amazing. I just downloaded it onto my phone after watching it again today! It was just so creepy! It gave me chills up my spine!
Compare these lines
But suddenly an angel has smiled upon me
Then tell me Maria why I see her dancing there?
Forget those stupid pop-star romance bullcrap. Songs like THESE are where it's at!
