Their fist three albums are good, but lyrical standard is completely nonexistent! Some songs pull the lazy "repeat the same line over and over again for the chorus" gag, and some songs seriously use gibberish as lyrics. - AngryByrd

Their lyrics are meaningful, but they can be pretty corny. Adam Gontier crooning on and on about pain and suicide is good sometimes, but it can be a little bit hard to listen to sometimes. - AngryByrd

Actually listening to them as typing this. I think their lyrics are pretty good. - music-is-life

Now let me say, as a Christian, religion is a good thing, but too much religion is just annoying. When I'm listening to metalcore, little hints of religion are good, but saying "God" "Cross" and "Christ" every five seconds is flat out annoying. - AngryByrd
