The Top Ten

This is a musical masterpiece. Rob Halford may have done if the best lyrics in any song. Nobody should forget the classics like Iron Maiden Black Sabbath Metallica Megadeth and so on
This song deserves to be in first place I had never heard a better 1st solo in my life.
The of fastest and heaviest song judas priest song
[Newest]Metal at it's pure state
More comments about PainKiller

2Beyond the Realms of Death
Two awesome solos supporting strong lyrics makes it a masterpiece.
I personally find this track to be the band's Masterpiece. So much of Priest's work is overlooked by the fans, in favour of their more well known, more "metal" tracks. But this is Classic, and so very distinctly; Priest.

I was never into Metal for the Headbanging. I was in it for the great writing, and lucrative sound. The sound envelops you, and delves into your being. A trait born from the history of Psychedelic/Blue Rock; a Precursor to Heavy Metal.
This song is first followed by Victim of Changes, Then Painkiller, Hellion Electric Eye and then You've Got Another Thing Comin'.
[Newest]This is song should be their best song

3Electric Eye
This song gives the listener a huge understanding of the metal in the song just the best metal song of priest and rob's voice unbelievable.
The Hellion Intro is just gives you those heavy metal vibes that shows you what Judas Priest is all about. After The Hellion, This kick-ass electric sound comes in and and you get the sudden urge to headbang! It defines Heavy Metal.
This song is the quintessential JP song. They play it at every concert, usually the first song along with the Hellion. Pure genius!
[Newest]Orgasmic artificial harmonics :3

4Breaking the Law
MASSIVE Judas fan and this is by far the best song to rock out to with friends as well as a strong vocal performance from Halford supported by a great rift combo of KK and Glenn
This is one those short-metal-songs that get's the job done. Pure guitar & vocals sync. It should be 2nd.
You people have obviously not heard any other Judas Priest songs. With choices like Saints In Hell, Victim Of Changes, and Screaming For Vengeance to name a few, you vote for Breakin The Law? DANCE TO THE TUNE? I'm gonna be sick!
[Newest]I got addicted to this song for a LONG, long time.

5Victim of Changes
The live version is better than the version on Sad Wings Of Destiny (also my fav JP album), but even that one is better than all their others. My List:

1. Victim Of Changes (Sad Wings Of Destiny)
2. Beyond The Realms Of Death (Stained Class)
3. Electric Eye (Screaming For Vengeance)
4. Painkiller (Painkiller)
5. You've Got Another Thing Comin' (Screaming For Vengeance)
6. Revolution (Angel Of Retribution)
7. Dreamer Deceiver (Sad Wings Of Destiny)
8. Breaking The Law (British Steel)
9. The Ripper (Sad Wings Of Destiny)
10. Screaming For Vengeance (Screaming For Vengeance)
Great drums, guitar rythmn, vocals, and length. One of Judas Priest finest works.
Absolutely LOVE this song (although PainKiller is my ultimate #1), great intro and lyrics by Halford make this song incredible, along with the drumming. My Top 5:

1. PainKiller
2. Electric Eye
3. Victim of Changes
4. You've Got Another Thing Comin
5. Living After Midnight
[Newest]Changed the face of metal forever.

6You've Got Another Thing Comin'
All songs in the list are great, this is the first judas priest song that I heard, in the Grand Theft Auto vice city radio station and I love it
The whole Screaming for Vengeance album is great, but this one really stands out! It is Priest's best, most enduring metal anthem. If you disagree... You've got another think comin'!
Downing and Tipton are perfection. Their guitars propel this song into my all-time number one spot. I never cease to be overwhelmed with emotion each time the opening chords shatter the silence. I love this song.
[Newest]COME ON! This is their signature song. VOTE IT UP!

7The Sentinel
I really don't think my father knew what to say when he found his daughter in her little floral dress aged 10 and rocking out to this... Definitely proud.
Simply amazing, has every aspect of a godly metal song and always gives me goosebumps
rob really rips it up on this song
[Newest]A song that set the pace for all metal anthems to come

8Night Crawler
I think this is not a song because judas priest legendary band. nightcrawler music, guitar, vocalist is so horror most of the horror film I watched but I cannot scared but nightcrawler I scared. I don, t know what kind of band they are make. One last thing judas priest is the metal of god. Judas priest is the essential for a music. judas priest is different from another band. iron maiden also making a horror band but it cannot be make like a judas priest because judas priest druming, guitar very original and different from other. In earth no body can touch to judas priest in band. You are metal god. I think born to known the world what is music. In whatever topic you make it is legendry. I think you are the end of a music and you are god of metal
And now what?
This is an excellent song, feel the electric guitar grinding the hell into pieces, awesome vocals corresponding the drums... and of course I won't say a thing just try qnd you see.
I love this song and album. It's the best metal album of that year hands down
[Newest]How is this song not on the list.

9Living After Midnight
I love this song. It's a perfect song to listen to if you're out in the woods partying with buddies at 120 at night. I like this song so much, I consider it my theme song, since I like to stay up late at night anyway. Off the record I think it's an awesome song for powerful drug dealer's, like tony montana (yes I know, he's fictional) I think it's a good song for any human spirit.
Great rhythm, great guitars and super vocals - a famous masterpiece!
Live version in Seminole arena... Just amazing. I love Scott Travis he is a very fast drummer.
[Newest]Another catchy Priest song who Everybody Knows!

10A Touch of Evil
This is a metal masterpiece... A touch of god JUDAS PRIEST are the best! This song is so underrated it must be at least in the top 3.. The guitar solos are incredible..
TOP 3 FOR SURE... METAL MASTERCLASS... Great composition by Judas Priest
One of the best song they have
Best song they have. Very energetic and full of power. Better than breaking the law for sure, that's such a dumb (musically) song, I think this is a bit more complex, as the hole painkiller album is, so I preffer it much more.
[Newest]Best song on Painkiller, I spent many hours wailing through this track.

The Contenders

11Turbo Lover
Love the mood of this song. Deep combination of machinery & atmospheric sounds. You literally dive into this song.
Why is this song 12th?! It's their 2nd best song.
My top 10:
1) Painkiller
2) Turbo Lover
3) Electric Eye
4) Breaking The Law
5) Beyond The Realms Of Death
6) Victim Of Changes
7) Sinner
8) You've Got Another Thing Comin'
9) The Sentinel
10) A Touch Of Evil
This song is highly underrated. It should definitely be top 5 on this list.
[Newest]This should be in top ten.

12Hell Bent For Leather
kick ass motorcycle song hell bent hell bent for leather!
One of the greatest solo ever.

Awesome song! It draws you in and makes you believe there is your own angel saviour up there in the heavens!
One of my all time favourite son
Why isn't this on top of the list! This is JP's best ever! You get a shiver down your spine when you hear this!
Just awesome... I agree whit the other comments, it should definitely be on the top 10 of the list.. You actually can feel the song inside you..
[Newest]Amazing song... Lovin it

14Judas Rising
Oh my, Judas Rising rotting here?! The ultimate Judas Priest song with the most epic riffs, heaviest beats, most energetic vocals and the BEST chorus of all time is placed 16th?! This is the biggest insult to Judas Priest and their insane album 'Angel Of Retribution' that's one of the most legendary metal albums ever.
And Angel is 13th?! Another shocker! The Metal Gods are not pleased, enough said.
What's wrong with this list, putting Judas Rising here?! This song is the epitome of heavy metal. Brash, insanely fast, divine riffs... Everything about this song is pure genius. This is by far one of their best songs. It's just so damn heavy! Please, allow your ears the privilege of listening to this, and THEN vote. Cause this is DEFINITELY better than almost the entire top 10.
Come on, listen to this masterpiece of music. Just Epic! Only Painkiller is maybe better.
[Newest]This is Judas Priests best song. What is it doing here. This is nuts.

15Freewheel Burning
Come on! 15?! Get your stuff right people! Sure, painkiller, breaking the law, the sentinel, and all those are great too, don't get me wrong, but this is the first Judas Priest song that when I heard the first time, I was truly blown away by the guitars, the vocals, and everything. This song is exciting, has wonderful instrumental skills, and is undoubtedly one of the Judas Priest's very best songs! Vote up people!
First song on defenders of the faith if this song didn't exist I wouldn't has the best riffs and chorus There is a way that when I listen to this son it takes over me Oh and it has the best music video Nothing in the world could make this song better than it already is. Thank You

The first 4 songs on defenders of the faith is probably the best 20 minutes of true heavy metal recorded up to that time. this song is the first of that epic sequence and it will surely stand the test of time.

16Dreamer Deceiver
Not just a great song by a great metal band, but a brilliant song on every level. The vocal qualities Halford exhibits in this song, the sheer range, and the transition between a clear, beautiful voice and an artful sneer make this song a classic.
While Painkiller has the awesomest guitar solo ever recorded, this song has the best singing in any metal song ever. Rob Halford is incredible.
This is just plain awesome! Judas Priest just couldn't get any awesomer! Especially the part where Halford goes crazy high and the solo that follows it!
[Newest]This is one of the best songs of all time!

17Screaming for Vengeance
The album and song that my friend played for me that got me into Priest in 83. Still my favorite Priest album overall.
No one does this? Really? This song, the intro is the equivelent to painkiller!

Second to only Painkiller. The best opening to any song I have ever heard. The riff paralyses me. Incredible heavy metal masterpiece from the fathers of twin guitar metal. It doesn't get any better than this so mystified why it is not in the Top 10?
Craziest solo; truly utilizes the full potential of the unstoppable duo; Glenn Tipton and KK Downing. They are THE best guitarists out there. Who says they're retired? Their titles certainly aren't.
Kick ass song, probably the best intro and riff in heavy metal (2nd is Sole Survivor from Halloween to me), incredible sweep picking solo, should be #1 Priest song in my opinion

19One Shot at Glory
So underrated...
This is a great song!
What!? No 23? No 1
Just Awesome... No more!

20Blood Red Skies
Cause its on ram it down not many have heard this, but they played it on their epitaph tour and was one of the highlights of the night, anyone who calls themselves a priest fan has to know this song.
I didn't use to know the song untill some days ago. Such epicness is matchless with any other rock or metal song I've ever heard. I invite you to read lyrics while listening to it: you'll be brought there, and become that future legend by dying. It's fantastic. Really, maybe almost unknown, but their best in my opinion and not only mine - 'bet a lot will underwrite it.
What the hell is this song doing so low down? This has to be one of the best song of JP. Such awesomeness, such an epic song. Hell yes m/
[Newest]Easily top 10, absolutely chilling

Awesome song with great vocals, guitars, and killer, lightning fast drums. This song was also a huge influence on thrash metal, along with songs like overkill and symptom of the universe.
If Black Sabbath's Symptom of the Universe wasn't the seed of thrash metal, than this certainly was.

Why in Rob Halford's name is this not even in the top 20!?

22Hell Patrol
Deserves to be in the top 5. It gives you the feeling of power, real true song, purest form of art.
It gives you energy
Nice to see all these judas priest songs on here! Best band ever

23Heading Out to the Highway

24Metal Meltdown
this song is so brutal, especially when Rob sings'Here comes the MEtal Meltdown" awesommeuh
believe, you gonna like the intro; any great metaller would like it!
this song was the first I heard from them, and all the song is great!

This song annihilates! Totally badass, gets me pumped up every time I hear it!
[Newest]That guitar trade-off between Tipton & Downing has to be one of the best moments I've ever heard on a metal song.

25Leather Rebel
Damn, why so far down? This is one of my favorite songs by them! It breaks my heart to see if so far down! This and Hellrider are two of my favorites because they are so fast paced!
What? This song should to be in the first place!
Greatest song ever
Lighting in the dark
[Newest]This deserves a better place at this list. Makes me cry :'(

26Ram It Down
How is this song so low on the list? The album wasnt all that great, but this song is so amazing! The guitar is absolutely fantastic! The vocals are so great, and that solo is just so, I can't even describe it, oh my god! Drum machine or not, this song has to be one of my favorite priest songs of all time
Ram it the #&%^@ down! This song is great. It's really underrated too, just like "Riding on the Wind" and "One Shot at Glory". Yeah... There's nothing quite like Judas Priest :D
Defniantly underrated song one of my favorite songs by judas priest and has a amazing solo plus great lyrics

This should at least be in the top 15.

The operatic vocals and the great instrumental parts make this song one of the best from Judas Priest.

It has the best solo and sounds like Glen Tipton played it the way he wanted to it has the best verse chorus bridge Pre-Chorus and everything else this is the best song ever

Deserves to be rated much higher and is probably in my top ten Priest songs. Amazing chorus and Rob is spectacular.
KK's best solo ever. Epic song FOR THE WIN!

29Delivering the Goods
Easily one of their 10 best songs. This song always makes me want to jump up and rock!
Song with great punch and cool lyrics. I always get in very good mood listening to theis one. Unfortunatly I think it's underrated..

32Between the Hammer & the Anvil
Are you guys kidding? This is one of my favorite songs of all time, not just in Judas Priest discography. The vocals are amazing and the solo is hands down one of their best, one of the most epic songs of all time.

33Metal Gods
What Judas Priest was named for. Just awesome.
I'm shocked! This Masterpiece at #34!?! Easily top 10, if not top 5!

35Worth Fighting For
Worth fighting for must be on the top. It's the most epic song I've ever heard. Painkiller is hard but not good. VOTE FOR WFF.
ıt should have been absolutely on the top. ıts awesome. help its rise vote for it

36Run of the Mill
Wow now that's a song old but awesome and probly one of the most saddest solos ever its a total unforgoting gem
Most underrated song of all time. Period.
One of the greatest songs of the Priest
[Newest]The song that I keep going back to.

37Prisoner of Your Eyes
So underrated but so beautiful and with an amazing solo!

39Saints In Hell
Should be top ten! Love everything Judas, but this list has me baffled. If your knowledge of J.P. is strictly radio play (and I believe that's most of the people voting here) you are ruining this top ten for us true PRIEST fans!

40The Green Manalishi
Very underrated, all Judas Priest fans recognize this one!
It should be in top10! Just listen!

41Stained Class

42Dissident Aggressor
Such an underrated song. Halford's amazing performance, never more playful, such great contrasting. And KK's and Tipton's riffs are again simple yet incredibly catchy. Just give it a listen, people. Won't regret it
The origin of true heavy metal. Priest at its finest.
Super heavy and fast song for 1977. Kickass vocals as well, Rob's first scream is insane.

43Rock Hard Ride Free
What the hell! How is this song at 63?!?!? This song is amazing come on listen to this...
Its too mind blowing to not be at #1
This song is a guitar miracle.
[Newest]It should be in top 10! Masterpiece!

44Desert Plains

45In Between

46(Take These) Chains
A good catchy song.

47Diamonds and Rust
Great it priest rocks...
Best of Judas Priest

Pure, raw original metal from Judas Priest, Genocide is undoubtedly one of their best.

49All Guns Blazing
How is this song not on the top 10 list it's awesome it's got a great solo and the begin is great and when it gets all slow near the end is fantastic this is my 4th favorite song by JP it really is one of the best songs if you think about it
Wicked song, no doubt the heaviest song JP has, this epitomizes thrash, just a beat you down wicked beat that makes you want to break your own neck headbanging. Its
This songs is absolutely mad, fast and crazy. Should definitely be at least top 20

[Newest]This song is perfect

50Deal With the Devil
Underrated song one of their heaviest too bad not that many people know of it

51Love Bites
Honestly this is in my top ten priest songs. It has amazing vocals with that echo that gives you chills. The solo is great and the whole band just is spectacular.
This is one of judas priest best songs, for me its in the top 3
Maybe not the best Priest song, but certainly in the top 10. But then again all Priest songs are good.

My favorite song of Judas Priest! From my favorite album! (british steel). Also this song needs in the top 10 in my opinion.
what a chorus and so corny

It's my my favourite Judas Preist song, and one of my favourite all time songs.

53Out In the Cold
How is this at 50?!?!? The beginning is so epic. Robs voice is so great on this track. The keyboards always give a chill down my spine. This song is comparable to Dio's Holy diver, same style and same amount of awesome!

54Hard As Iron
Deserves to be a classic. If released in the Painkiller album, would be a live classic. A shame is part of a very underrated album.
An unquestionable classic from the forgotten Ram It Down.
The fact that its on Ram It Down makes it even better.

56Cathedral Spires
Absolute epic masterpiece. With this song, Tim Owens has made his contribution to the band worthwhile.
It's a masterpiece! It should be at least in the top 30.

57Halls of Valhalla
Needs to be much higher than 75.. Definitely in the top 15.

60Rapid Fire
Great, underrated Priest song. I've never been moved to tears until I heard this song. Just a masterpiece. Especially 1:53 - 2:50. Hearing this song lets me know that there is a god. Actually three: Rob Halford, KK Downing, and Glenn Tipton.
THE heavy metal anthem. Awesome track.
One hell of an epic thrashy riff and a great song to boot the lyrics are so catchy as well!

This song is amazing!

Smooth beginning with a nice solo wich then goes to a melody wich is easily recognizable. Not to mention Halfords great singing

63Living Bad Dreams
The fact that this is down to 55th position is disturbing to say the least.
I personally LOVE this song.. It's just perfect, come on guys

64Heavy Duty / Defenders of the Faith
Badass closer, to a badass album.
This song should be un the TOP 10

65Devil's Child

66Some Heads Are Gonna Roll
Oh come on, this song should be up there! Not one of the most popular ones, but really, its one of the best in my opinion.

The fact that this isn't in the top 10 is beyond me. The fact it wasn't on this list at all is just plain ridiculous. Easily one of their best songs and ahead of their time.

68Burnin' Up

69Better By You, Better Than Me

70Running Wild

71Redeemer of Souls

Dreamer Deceiver has to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time, as it builds from it's trippy but nearly classical beginning to a climax featuring some of Rob Halford's greatest screams ever. I believe some heavy metal fans hear the soft beginning and discount the song because of that. A tragic mistake in my opinion!
In my opinion this song stands along with stairway to heaven and child in time
I had to put their best song on list

74Rocka Rolla
One of first Judas Priest's song. Good rock playing.

75Burn In Hell

Why this ist 83? Riff is epic!

78Fire Burns Below

79Future of Mankind
#106... If you heard this song watch it then. Its coming all the way to top!

80Take On the World

81Wheels of Fire
I like this song very much!

82The Rage
Epic song, slow intro, and it just builds up, like someone's rage escalating!

83Blood Stained
Are you crazy? This song is pure metal! I Love it!
My favourite song with Tim Owens.

84Here Come the Tears
I was going to vote for Nightcrawler but this song truly deserves more respect.

This is one of the greatest metal ballads in the history of metal ballads. Downing's solo just owns in this. Deserves a much higher place in my opinion.
How the hell is this so down. Such a mesmerizing song!

86Close to You
No one else comes close to you! Those are the best lirycs ever!

87Lost and Found

88Locked In
You guys suck 81? Come on go listen the song and then come back...

89March of the Damned

90Jekyll and Hyde
Such an aggressive sounding song. Definitely worth a listen, or more like 100 listens. Seriously, it's good.

91Race With the Devil

92Evening Star
Both calm and rock parts of this song are nicely played and sang

This was a hard one. I was going between this, Painkiller, and Victim of Changes. AND HOW IS THIS RANK 97?

95Hot Rockin'

96Metal Messiah
Its just awesome mix of metal and rap and it works... It's the best song on the demolition album and the best from the Tim ripper Owens era

97One On One
Even though this song doesn't have Halford on vocals it's a very hard hitting song.

98Heart of a Lion

99Parental Guidance
You can really fell it inside you when Rob sings "when was the last Time you just stopped and lost control" and then glenn and K.K. on the guitar going like dun nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh

100Brain Dead
