42 AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted - Ice Cube AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted - Ice Cube

One of the best rap albums ever. Political and non apologetic. How is this not higher?

Absolutely should be rated much higher. Ice Cube is one of the greatest.

How is this not higher. Ice cube is a true genius

Ice cube is underrated. This album rules - Sabbath

43 Stillmatic - Nas Stillmatic - Nas

A classic. The debate between stillmatic and the blueprint still goes on to this day. Whether you think stillmatic or the blueprint is better all hip hop fans agree that they're both amazing albums. Classics.

This is Nasir Jones' 2nd best album after Illmatic

44 The Score - The Fugees The Score - The Fugees

The first rap album I ever bought. Great for it's time because it wasn't 100% hip hop, there was a strong reggae element and great acoustic tracks gave it a more widespread appeal. Great album

I just found this album and I can't get enough. It's truly a masterpiece beginning to end

Songs like fu gee la, mask, killing me softly all show the diversity of the group, making it an instant classic

45 Criminal Minded - Boogie Down Productions Criminal Minded - Boogie Down Productions
46 Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park

What is this album doing here? It is great, but what the hell :')

47 Capital Punishment - Big Punisher Capital Punishment - Big Punisher

One of the deadliest flows to ever touch the mic.

48 O.G. Original Gangster - Ice-T O.G. Original Gangster - Ice-T

Ice T was the first Hip Hop I properly LISTENED to and connected to. There is no Cat that is cooler. He REALLY doesn't get the respect that he is due. Dre, Cube and all the rest would tell you, under no illusion that T was the OG, the first ACTUAL Gangster rapper. That's just fact. His flow on this LP is insane. Check out 'fly by' or 'escape from the killing fields'.

49 All 6's and 7's - Tech N9ne All 6's and 7's - Tech N9ne

50 Tetsuo & Youth - Lupe Fiasco Tetsuo & Youth - Lupe Fiasco

Lupe's best album and my personal fave of 2015

Mural puts this album in the top 50

51 Hello Nasty - Beastie Boys Hello Nasty - Beastie Boys
52 Below the Heavens - Blu & Exile Below the Heavens - Blu & Exile

On of the best albums I've ever hear, regardless of genre

53 Watch the Throne - Jay-Z & Kanye West Watch the Throne - Jay-Z & Kanye West

This album should easily be in the top ten. Jay-Z and Kanye West are two rap heavyweights who combined both of their talents to create one super-album. Time goes by, but Jay and Yeezy never miss a beat.

Only heard one on this album, No church in the wild, but it was very

Underrated by far on of the greatest albums of all time

This album will go down as: legendary

54 Aquemini - Outkast Aquemini - Outkast

Outkast hit an absolute home run with this. The style within was quintessentially southern, but very creative in terms of electronic production, as well. And does a rap duo get better than Andre 3000 and Big Boi? Phenomenal album.

Amazing. This should be the standard by which all southern hip hop albums should aspire to. Amazing album, and rosa parks is one of the best hip hop songs of all time

Not only the best rap album, but one of the best albums of all time. GOAT

This album is absurd top 10 at least

55 Long Live the Kane - Big Daddy Kane Long Live the Kane - Big Daddy Kane

How is such a classic hip hop masterpiece not even on this list? Big Daddy Kane is one of the best to grace the mic. Apparently even the god emcee Rakim refused to go mic to mic with kane.

56 Ill Communication - Beastie Boys Ill Communication - Beastie Boys
57 Running On Air - Bliss N Eso Running On Air - Bliss N Eso
58 Black On Both Sides - Mos Def Black On Both Sides - Mos Def

Please, if you haven't heard this album, please do, it is truly amazing. Mathematics, do it know (amazing beat and busta rhymes kills it), hip hop, speed law, so many amazing songs on one album. Who thought that a song called habitat, about the place you live, could be so amazing. If you don't know what I mean, listen to the song, you'll know what I'm saying. This should be far higher, better than recovery, encore, and relapse combined. Please, if you're going to say your a rap fan listen to some real music, not some crap on Encore. - Totalbeasto001

Contains some brilliant songs like speed law and mathematics.

59 Flying Colours - Bliss N Eso Flying Colours - Bliss N Eso
60 Compton - Dr. Dre Compton - Dr. Dre

A lot of Dre fans felt torn when this album came out. They don't approve of Compton because it's not like what Dre used to make. Let me get this out: I do not give a single damn how much Dre's music has changed. Compton is THE sickest album of 2015. This is coming from a fan of music, not a fan of Dre. We have legendary artists on board, all who took incredible advantage of their verses.

Kendrick Lamar just gave me chills every time he took the mic, and he's at his absolute greatest in Deep Water. Jon Connor undoubtedly tears the hell out of his verse in For the Love of Money. Ice Cube kill it in Issues. Eminem just lets everything out and destroys everything in Medicine Man. Then we got Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, The Game (who pretty much had his own song on the album but it bangs hard), Justus, BJ the Chicago Kid, Anderson.Paak, Candace Pillay, King Mez... man it's all-star cast on this SINGLE album!

What about Dre's music production? You can't deny it: the rhythms to this ...more - Mcgillacuddy

I don't know if it had the potential to be high up since it just came out, but come on when's the next time you're gonna have Dre, Em, Kendrick, Snoop, ice cube, the game and xzibit all on one album?.. Legendary.

The amount of great rappers on this album is incredible. Top to bottom one of the best albums in the last 10 years. Classic

Better than anything out in the past 5 years
