The Top Ten
1 Abraham Lincoln Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was an American lawyer and statesman who served as the 16th president of the United States from 1861 until his assassination in 1865. Lincoln led the nation through the American Civil War and succeeded in preserving the Union, abolishing slavery,... read more

Probably the best Republican President. Although he could be considered the best, his potential was cut short by his assassination. He still remains the greatest president in the United States. Abraham Lincoln ended slavery, defeated the South, and supported equal rights.

Ended slavery. Beat the Confederacy. End of story. Didn't engage in scandalous behavior or incite an insurrection and attempt a coup d'état, unlike others.

Lincoln was all about unity, he lead the country by bringing an End to the Civil War. Sure, people have died but the Confederacy was defeated. Lincoln opposed slavery, therefore introducing the emancipation proclamation which granted the freedom for slaves who were definitely of African descent.

2 Theodore Roosevelt Theodore Roosevelt was an American statesman, author, explorer, soldier, naturalist, and reformer who served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. As a leader of the Republican Party during this time, he became a driving force for the Progressive Era in the United States in the... read more

Took on corporate elites and made life better for America's working class, who had been at odds with their own employers for better working conditions.

Two words: National Parks. Environmentalists should worship at this man's feet. But, the left knows next to nothing about history. Therefore, they will remain forever ignorant about the most environmentally minded president in US history.

He was the epitome of what a man should be. Went from a sickly kid to taking a bullet to the chest and still giving an 84-minute speech.

3 Dwight D. Eisenhower Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower was an American politician and general who served as the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe.

He was the man responsible for the interstate highway system. He believed if attacked, our country had to be mobile. Detested prejudice and believed all men and women equal.

War Hero. Supreme Allied Commander during WW2. Created the Interstate Highway System, and made progress on Civil Rights and equality for all Americans.

Great military mind. Deserves honor as President.

4 Ronald Reagan Ronald Wilson Reagan (1911-2004) was an American politician and actor who was 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989 . Prior to his presidency, he was the 33rd Governor of California from 1967 to 1975, following a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader until his death in 2004

Ronald Reagan is and should be the hero of the Republican Party. His leadership put in motion the end of the Soviet Union, winning the Cold War, peace through strength, advocating for a smaller government and more responsible citizens, and sparking the conservative revival in American politics that has shaped our political landscape for decades now.

A wonderful president. Vowed to make America great again. Before his presidency, he was a Democrat, but then he grew up.
VOTE RED

Reagan was the last real President we have had in the United States. If George H. W. Bush had maintained his economic policies, we would never have had another Democrat in office.

Reagan was everything a president should be: an independent thinker, diplomat, aggressive, and honest. Above all, he had honesty and respect for the office.

5 William McKinley William McKinley was the 25th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1897 until his assassination in September 1901, six months into his second term.

McKinley is vastly underrated at 15. He is easily in the top 6-7 Republican Presidents.

He was a Republican who cared for the poor and the rich.

Underrated, and economy under his administration had strengthened.

6 George H. W. Bush George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 - November 30, 2018) was an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Prior to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States under Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1989.

He made environmental progress with the Acid Rain Treaty with Canada, signing it with Brian Mulroney, but also passing a revised version of the Clean Air Act, and creating the National Climate Survey. He also passed the Americans with Disabilities Act and worked across the aisle with the Democrats.

An intelligent, decent human being. Heads and tails above those two buffoons, Reagan and Trump.

Fundamentally helped America and his son unfortunately didn't do much to help the family name.

7 Donald Trump Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessman, television personality, politician, and the 45th President of the United States. Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Donald J. Trump received an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968... read more

His personality aside, objectively speaking, his foreign policies were some of the best ever. He was tough on foreign governments that were charging US taxpayers lots of money for decades in order to import and export products into the US. The cost of living was significantly lower under him, especially compared to how it is now under the Biden administration. No wars were started under him, despite the media assuming he would start World War 3. He gave HBCUs more money than any president in the past has. He was able to push prison justice reform bills for both parties in Congress. He also managed to accomplish a historic peace agreement in the Middle East through the Abraham Accords. The biggest mistake he made was not adhering to the traditional peaceful transition of power to his successor. Despite that, the country is in a terrible place right now. Inflation is still high, and young people are locked out of the housing market. Two major international wars have been ongoing with threats of nuclear warfare. We definitely need him over Biden.

8 Ulysses S. Grant Ulysses S. Grant was an American soldier and statesman who served as Commanding General of the Army and the 18th President of the United States, the highest positions in the military and the government of the United States.

Although his corruption scandals took place during his office, he himself was not corrupt. He followed Lincoln's footsteps and did his best to continue reconstruction. Unfortunately, it ended when Rutherford B. Hayes took office, as the end of Reconstruction was almost inevitable. Ulysses S. Grant had a tough life before becoming President, making him similar to Calvin Coolidge.

Grant did a great deal to restore the Union following the Civil War and efforts to unite the eastern and western parts of the country.

9 Calvin Coolidge John Calvin Coolidge Jr. was an American politician and the 30th President of the United States. A Republican lawyer from New England, born in Vermont, Coolidge worked his way up the ladder of Massachusetts state politics, eventually becoming governor.

Silent Cal. Known for his stoic and calm demeanor, Calvin Coolidge is the prime example of modern-day stoicism. Calvin Coolidge did not speak much but had very good knowledge and was a wise man. Calvin Coolidge boosted the United States and is the spotlight of the roaring '20s. Unfortunately, the death of his father and son led him to not run for another term, as the death of these overwhelmed him, making him similar to Ulysses S. Grant.

I voted for Coolidge because he was the last real Republican, if you're going by today's definition of the party. Every "Republican" President since him has followed a very distorted version of the party's platform. And while Presidents such as Lincoln and Roosevelt were Republicans, the party was much different back then than it is now. Presidents like Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, and Eisenhower would, most likely, be Democrats today. Just like Clinton and Obama were much more moderate on the issues than their opponents realize, and weren't true Democrats.

10 William H. Taft William Howard Taft served as the 27th President of the United States and as the tenth Chief Justice of the United States, the only person to have held both offices.
The Contenders
11 Rutherford B. Hayes Rutherford Birchard Hayes was the 19th President of the United States from 1877 to 1881, an American congressman, and governor of Ohio. Hayes was a lawyer and staunch abolitionist who defended runaway slaves in court proceedings.

Not many people give him credit, but under his administration, he radically transformed the US government by assigning people in the government based on merit, instead of other factors.

He didn't care about himself. He made precedents for George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

12 James Garfield James Abram Garfield was the 20th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1881, until his assassination later that year.
13 Chester A. Arthur Chester Alan Arthur was an American attorney and politician who served as the 21st President of the United States; he succeeded James A. Garfield upon the latter's assassination.
14 Warren G. Harding Warren Gamaliel Harding was the 29th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1921 until his death in 1923.
15 Gerald R. Ford Gerald Rudolph Ford Jr. was an American politician who served as the 38th President of the United States from August 1974 to January 1977.

Wasn't in office for a whole long time, but was a good man. His wife championed a lot of good causes as First Lady, supporting women's rights and mental health.

16 George W. Bush George Walker Bush is an American politician and businessman who was born in July 6, 1946. He served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009 and 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. He is the eldest son of Barbara and George H. W.

Great President. Responded to 9/11 efficiently and capably. His Iraq War might not have been so good, but he really voiced his opinions proudly.

I never vote for the party, but always select the best person for the job. I voted for George W. Bush both times because I thought he was the best person for the job.

The most underrated president led us through 9/11 and could combine both Republicans and liberals.

17 Benjamin Harrison Benjamin Harrison was the 23rd President of the United States; he was the grandson of the ninth President, William Henry Harrison.
18 Richard Nixon Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th President of the United States from 1969 until his resignation in 1974, the only president to resign from office. He had previously served as the 36th Vice President of the United States from 1953 to 1961, and prior to that as a U.S. Representative and also Senator... read more

He opened relations with China and was the first president to visit. He also visited the Eastern Bloc, visiting Communist Romania under Ceausescu. He created the EPA. If not for Watergate, he would have been remembered as a decent president.

Nixon was a good president. He founded the EPA. Nixon was also well known for being one of the most involved presidents in nature conservation. But, sadly the Watergate scandal affected his power and trust by an immense amount.

He ended the Vietnam War! And was persecuted for the same thing the later president, Obama, did: spying on the opposite party. The difference is that the media proudly played the video from Obama's spy.

19 Herbert Hoover Herbert Clark Hoover was an American engineer, businessman and politician who served as the 31st President of the United States from 1929 to 1933 during the Great Depression.
