Unique, provocative and extremely special. A great collection of unconventional songs and superb live performances. Not popular as they should be just because of German lyrics and false rumours of being Nazis. Unbelievably consistent and talented as a whole.

Under Sum 41? You've got to be kidding me. How many children under the age of 14 are lingering around in here? Too many it seems.

Typo mistake in previous post about pearl jam.
It is 20th century instead of 19th century.
And also
"AllMusic referred Pearl Jam as "the most popular American rock & roll band of the '90s.

Common people no Pearl Jam here!. Best alternate rock band of 19th century are still alive and rocking the world.
Just listen to "alive", "jeremy", "even flow ", "black" songs and you will understand their greatness.

84The Goo Goo Dolls

Honestly, I think they are a pretty great band.

85The KillersThe Killers is an American rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001, by Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning.

They should be higher up. Mainly because of the amount of bands that are much higher up than them that they influenced.

Most of the bands in the top ten could all be a supergroup and you know what they would be called? The Sellouts.

Awesomeness in its coolest form

So many great songs. "Read my mind" is enough to put them in the top 25.

93Panic! At The DiscoPanic! at the Disco is an American pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 and featuring the current lineup of vocalist Brendon Urie, accompanied on tour by bassist Dallon Weekes, guitarist Kenneth Harris, and drummer Dan Pawlovich.

Why aren't Panic! At The Disco at the top of the list? They're talented, original, inspiring and have a range of different sounds to suit everyone. If you're into very upbeat, slow songs with deep meanings, I recommend their album 'Pretty. Odd.'. If you like a bit more of a hip-hop/pop-like sound, I recommend 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out'. Once again, very beautiful music.

Panic! At The Disco are my ultimate favourite band, right beside Green Day, Evanescence, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and Nickelback. Panic! 's songs are very influential and always put a smile on my face. Their sound is ever-changing and, yet, they are still Panic! At The Disco.

They are one of the best bands out there for the public and everyone should love them too!

Panic! are a great band. I love their music.

ACDC CHANGED ROCK FOREVER BEST ROCK BAND I'VE EVER HEARD

AC/DC are the greatest band that I have ever seen live, even at their age! Seen Metallica 3 times and even they don't come close.

The Young's and co do a phenomenal job every time they play

Okay what how can people seriously put Lincoln Park above chilly peppers acdc sublime and Green Day...
Anyways acdc isn't really a 21st century band but they're the best on this list. Wow people seriously think about these votes... Lincoln Park is barely even rock. A lot of this is pop being voted for by people who don't know rock.
