You can easily make an argument that, in his prime, LT was the greatest running back of all time. He is easily in the top 5. Using that logic, nobody even comes close to the greatness of LT. I would love for him to finish out his career as a Charger, maybe spending a year or two as a backup/tutor to Ryan Matthews.
There is no chance for anyone to be the best except for this man.
I think LT is one of the top 10 best running backs.

Dan Fouts
Props to everyone on this list, but Fouts is easily the best Charger ever.
Yeah, I know LT holds the record for most TDs in a single season, but a Dan Fouts jersey is worth 38K now.
Super good QB.
-
Junior Seau
All I got to say is he led the Chargers to their first Super Bowl and had the best defense by 1998.
I knew him when he played football on base at Camp Pendleton, CA, as a very young man. He was a great player even then.

John Jefferson
Possibly the best hands in NFL history. Too bad he asked for a lot more money after only two great seasons and was traded to Green Bay, where his fingers were too numb to work.
One word:
The Sun Devil touchdown man.

Drew Brees
Drew Christopher Brees is a former American professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League, primarily for the New Orleans Saints. Before he made New Orleans a great team and Super Bowl champions, Brees played here. He was drafted by the Chargers in the 2001 draft, and it took him three seasons to develop as a great quarterback. But as the 2004 season began, he was ready to show that he belonged. Leading the team to 12 regular-season wins, he passed for 3,159 yards with 27 touchdown passes and only 7 interceptions. He was good enough to earn NFL Comeback Player of the Year, but it was only the beginning for him.

He beat Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl.

Rolf Benirschke
Here's a case of a great player trying to be a great TV host. Rolf was, of course, a great kicker for the Chargers. He played in the 1982 Pro Bowl and scored 766 points, the most by a Chargers placekicker when he retired. He's also famous for his game-winning field goal that ended the Epic in Miami against the Dolphins in the 1981 AFC Playoffs. He's a member of the Chargers' 40th and 50th Anniversary Teams and was the 1983 NFL Man of the Year.
Oh, by the way, he failed to be a great game show host on Wheel of Fortune, but let's remember him as one of the all-time NFL great placekickers.
