The Contenders: Page 4

61 Freak Show Excess - Steve Vai Freak Show Excess - Steve Vai
62 Electric Eye - Judas Priest
63 Nottingham Lace - Buckethead Nottingham Lace - Buckethead

Great composition.. Full of emotion.. Fast and fantastic.. Buckethead is just amazing.. He's the best guitarist but is clearly underrated.

64 Hatebreeder - Children of Bodom Hatebreeder - Children of Bodom

One of the most underrated songs out there. Lots of speed picking and sweeps and the whole song is generally extremely hard to play.

65 Inside the Fire - Disturbed Inside the Fire - Disturbed
66 Hangar 18 - Megadeth Hangar 18 - Megadeth
67 Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin

Incredibly easy to play song in my opinion. Still badass song, and people think you're actually good if you play it.

The solo isn't hard, its advanced but not the way over the top

This song isn't as hard as it sounds.
The first few chords are a little stretchy, but it's easy to get. The first two acoustic parts can be a little hard to get, then a power chord, and easy major/ minor chords, then a solo, not the hardest song, the first song I learned on acoustic. - Plonderss

68 The Lemon Song - Led Zeppelin The Lemon Song - Led Zeppelin
69 Para Mexer - Animals as Leaders Para Mexer - Animals as Leaders
70 Smooth - Santana Smooth - Santana
71 A Late Summer's Rain/schizophrenia - John Petrucci

The most shredtastic song on the planet. Just listen to the whole thing. Starts out soft and builds up to an extremely intense shred!

72 Bodhisattva - Steely Dan Bodhisattva - Steely Dan
73 Perpetual Burn - Jason Becker Perpetual Burn - Jason Becker

Why is this song not only not in the top 3 but it is not even on the list?

74 Tetragrammaton - The Mars Volta Tetragrammaton - The Mars Volta
75 Burn It Down - Avenged Sevenfold Burn It Down - Avenged Sevenfold
76 Cry for Eternity - Dragonforce Cry for Eternity - Dragonforce

So many guitar solos, pretty much impossible to play the whole thing without messing up

77 Never Going Back Again - Fleetwood Mac Never Going Back Again - Fleetwood Mac

Unless you have more than 4 arms, you'll be having a hard time picking this song.

78 Plug in Baby - Muse Plug in Baby - Muse
79 Freewill - Rush Freewill - Rush

The solo could stump Van Halen. No question about it. Did Eddie Van Halen play in weird time signatures with 2 other musical virtuosi? Nope.
