Best Headphones Brands

The Top Ten
1 Sennheiser

Sennheiser honestly no doubt has the best sound quality for the best price. They are completely better than Dr. Dre beats. my $70 Sennheiser hd 429s has much more quality that the beats executive trust me my one friends who has the executives said he would rather have the Sennheiser. Ther sound is the clearest you can get and have amazing warm crisp bass. But if you are looking for a little more powerful bass on your headphones don't worry just download an equalizer and that can be easily fixed.

No doubt, it is a real german brand.
In india it's range starts from 12$ to 45k$
Brand offers a unique and descent sound quality
Great balance between treble and bass.
No fake bass like beats, sony, bose, skulcandy and etc

Love Sennheiser - great brand, great products for a great lot of years! I own the Momentum and... they are just great.

2 Audio-Technica

I have one and I know how it feels to put it on. Amazing!

Nice sound quality in affordable price.

3 Bose

Yeah, they do ware out after a couple of years, but Bose Headphones are just outstanding! Perfect bass, god-tier noise-cancellation, and very comfortable. What are Beats doing on this list?! They're easily breakable (Mine broke after 10 months) and people just buy them just to look fashionable.

Amazing noise cancelling with ok sound qualities compare with the other noise cancelling headphones.

Beats? They break after a month. Bose however, lasts for years.

4 Beyerdynamic

Best headphones for monitoring and editing audio.

Sony has some great sound and build quality, can't go wrong with their high end models.

I have mdr zx 310 headphones and they are amazing. I love them! Sony is sound god!

6 JBL

Seriously? Why isn't this higher up? Tell me one other headphones brand that has spent like 30 years perfecting their bass output. I will admit that they aren't the only headphones with great bass, but they have it for a great price range and for every budget. I have JBL T450 BTs, and I use them for everything. I'm actually listening to music right now with them connected to my iPad. Jbl rules.

Why is this not higher. They make good sound quality.

7 Beats by Dre

My Beats Studio Buds were sounding completely fine yesterday, but now, they're playing audio in the worst quality possible. The audio quality sounds like if you were watching TV and you recorded it's audio using an iPad. It's horrible. I tried resetting them twice, but now, when I connect, if I play any audio, they automatically disconnect. I'm starting to think that my Christmas present wasn't worth my time.

Beats, number 7! They should be number one. If you actually coughed up the money you would agree. I have the Studio 2 and the Solo 2 wireless and I couldn't be happier.

I got to tell ya, I, m fan of beats. I wish I have all the beats collections. All I have is the old beats. Beats studios, pill, and I beats. My friends tell me that Bose r the best, and will I think is not. Enjoy it

8 Skullcandy

These headphones are great for skateboarding other active activities.

Just the best sound for the best price! They are much better then dr. Dre!

Best headphones ever listened to... Love them

9 Monster
10 Bang & Olufsen

Come on guys. Bang & Olufsen is awesome! Much better than Beats by Dr. Dre and Bose. Not better than Sennheiser or Skullcandy though. They're too good. But B&O is awesome.

I thing this should be second. It's so awesome!

The Contenders
11 V-Moda
12 Grado Labs

Mahogany + Open Back + Handwired = Best quality and sound-stage ever.

Grado Labs are the best headphones for the audiophile. Ranging from affordable ($70) to incredibly high priced ($1600), the Grado Labs hand-wired headphone range is truly a relic of ingenuity, taking sound to a different dimension and rocking it with pure bliss. Placing the sound in front of the design, you can be certain that these things can deliver the sound you wanted and more. Take a step back from the popular brands and check these things out. Ask anyone who has a pair and they will tell you that these finely crafted cans can spoil any ear. Check them out!

As perfect as Sennheiser and Shure... get dr fool/hipster headphones out of the list!

13 AKG

I love the sound charastics of AKG. The bass and highs are not to much. The mids are awesome. Design and comfort should be a bit better.

I think sennhieser is the best, but the reason I'm voting for AKG is because I think it should be at #2.
