Top Ten Ideas for a Star Wars Anthology Movie
We all are aware, I hope, that Star Wars is back with a vengeance. 'The Force Awakens' destroyed the global box office, the merchandise is everywhere, and the franchise, as a whole, is growing at a exponential rate. One of the biggest components to thank for this is the proposed series of 'Anthology films' slated to be released during the years that fall in between the 'Saga' films (Episodes VII, VIII, IX). As of yet there are three 'Anthology' films in various stages of production. 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is expected in theatres December 2016, and (as of yet) untitled films based around the characters of 'Han Solo' and 'Boba Fett' are expected to be released in 2018 and 2020, respectively. But what if Disney wants to make more? One can hardly blame them (they're sitting on a gold mine, here). And that has me wondering, "What else can they make Star Wars movies about?". Well, folks... step right up and voice your ideas! There's so much potential here.
I did get the sense that the First Order will eventually unveil some twist about its formation involving Palpatine
This would be such a great story to tell...if Disney didn't own Star Wars now lol.
They're making that next year
This one has my highest hopes to be made
Nobody knows what species he is
It would be the best
I wish there was a movie about the most popular Bounty Hunter in the Prequel movies.
It would be perfect. The storyline would be poetic, and it would be artsy yet Abrams' television-like. A hybrid of J.J. Abrams, Darren Aronofsky, Terrence Malick and a little, uh, Ingmar Bergman for good measure. Add some Kurosawa in too, you know what I mean?
Not the origin of the Clone Troopers (that's covered in Episode II), but the Storm Troopers that eventually replaced them. Possibly with ties to Finn's character origins.
