He played in his first 3 Pro Bowls as a Colt (1971-1973) and played the key role in the Colts 1970 World Championship team by recording 67 tackles, intercept a pass and though sacks didn't count in the record books, he got 1 and a half sacks.In the next 3 season he had a combine 252 tackles, had 15 sacks, batted down 21 passes and blocked 4 field goals and a single punt, now that's the beginning of a Hall of Fame career.
