Best Instruments In Metal Besides Guitars, Bass, and Drums
What are instruments in metal, which make the sound more interesting?I haven't heard of a lot of Metal bands that use this, but I do know a rock band that used a violin. Of course you know what I'm thinking about since I made a list of why they were a great band.
By this, I just remembered the video "Guitar VS Violin - A heavy metal battle! ". Awesome video.
Almost all folk metal bands use violins.
Dark Lunacy, Eluveitie, Dominia... many Melodic Death Metal bands use this.
Piano is usually used to setup a "progressive" sound so it's found mostly in prog metal, symphonic metal, power metal - Savatage, Blind Guardian, Edguy, Sonata Arctica, and many more.
Even in death metal - Children Of Bodom, for example.
Especially in prog metal, symphonic, power metal.
Very often in symphonic metal, in some power metal songs, too.
I know it isn't that much used in metal. But some bands like Skiltron and Triddana use the best of it.
