Top 10 Lesser-Known Super Nintendo Entertainment System Games

Super Mario World, Mega Man X, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, F-Zero, and so many titles that made the SNES a great library of games. But there are some titles released on the SNES that have been forgotten, not as good as the ones we like, or even less popular. Here are some you may not have know existed. We're only looking at games that released exclusively on the SNES.

The Top TenXW

1Smart Ball

This game was developed by Game Freak & System Sacom, published by Epic/Sony Records in Japan & Sony Imagesoft in America, and directed by Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokémon. Smart Ball is a game where you play as a tiny blue blob that can climb on walls, stretch, and even shoot jelly. You should totally play this game. It's fun. I played it at www.SNESFun.com & it was great. Are you surprised that Sony published this game?

2Pocky & Rocky

That's two games. There is a third Pocky & Rocky game called Pocky & Rocky With Becky only on the Game Boy Advance. It would be nice for Pocky & Rocky to make a comeback.

3Plok
4Rocky Rodent
5The 7th Saga
6ClayFighter 2: Judgement Clay

I would include the original ClayFighter if it wasn't on both the SNES & the Sega Genesis.

7Goof Troop

Did you know Capcom made a video game based on the T.V. Show, Goof Troop, for the SNES?

8Hong Kong 97

It was released only in Japan & it's okay if you never played it. It's not very good. If you've seen the AVGN episode of this, you'll see why.

11Terranigma

Terranigma is not only one of my favorite SNES games, but one of my favorite over all video games of all time, and I consider it the most underrated game of all time. It's also sad it never got a North American release, only Japan and Europe. - LightBreaker08
